I remember those Handy Andy tool sets. I had one as a child. I almost cut one of my fingers off with the saw. Most of the toys back then came coated with lead based paint, sharp points and razor sharp edges. My favorite toys were the kind that had small parts that could be easily removed and swallowed. My brother and I used to remove the rubber suction cups from our dart guns and try to shoot each other in the head, that is until our mother took them away from us and beat the hell out of us for being so careless. Those were the good old days. Those kinds of toys would never be allowed these days. Love your show. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished man cave. Stay safe my friend and if you need a break, take one. We're not going anywhere.

Until they flew the plane…I see you as one of those kind of people….I’m 80…I never blew my horn but there are things out there that I had a big hand in….i’m watching you because I see this nature in you…KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL idea’s you develope…FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT is famous for going outside the box with his building and furniture design…I absolutely loved his work just as I love your work, explanations, and builds -making them work

We all have those times when we are just tired of a project, feel our energy sputtering and need a break but the pressure of an immovable deadline like winter makes you worry that a break is a luxury you can't afford. If you're burning out, just staple some tarps over everything and take a break for the winter. You could just make a lot of KZbin videos with you talking about life and maybe writing songs about Canada. You could also do cooking videos exclusively about bacon, like ten videos in a series, then do live streams discussing the difference in bacon and Canadian bacon. 😊 I'd watch it.

As a kid my dad bought me a handy andy tool kit at a garage sale we were at that looked brand new. I didn't realize it at the time that it was as old as it was until I googled it just now when you said it but on the way home from the garage sale we saw a dead buck on the side of the road that was pretty mangled from a truck hit. My dad pulled over took the hand saw out of the kit and cut off the antlers. We took the antlers home and put them in a bucket of bleach water for 2 days then took it out and that was the best back scratcher I have ever used in my life haha. I forgot all about my handy andy kit until just now. I still have a few of the tools from it in my workbench that was built by my granddad for my dad when he was little.

Buttoning up the build and hanging with your brother a few days doing his outdoorsy stuff might recharge your perspective. Coming back to visit the cabin, just for a walk-around and to assess what you’ve accomplished so far and appreciating the overall creativity and use of repurposed materials and the natural materials you processed through every step. I’m in my 70’s, a retired builder and I have marveled at your creativity and productivity. Stepping away for a brief change of pace, to focus on something totally unrelated, with someone you’re closely connected to…bro, you deserve it and so do THEY! We’re gonna click on, if only to see you dangling your feet in the fish pond and talking about your ideas. Your thinking out loud while you work, talking to your viewers…part of why you have the subs you do. Chill bro, have a beer and drown some worms.

BBQ Pitt on the deck would make sense to. Watching the sun on the side of the house, looks like you made good time putting up the garage siding (about 3 hours?). You definitely need a new assistant, not a replacement for Don, he's not replacable. The washroom sounds like an unfinished washroom. "Urmmm, that adds up to...ALOT!" True Kevin catchphrase.
