I feel like right now most parents (sadly) will love the child that sends most money...also try not sending upkeep( those of us who have black tax)😢😢. And they still ask why you dont communicate and they only call to complain or compare you with their friends children.Never checking on you. Just a tayad 1st born daughter☺️.

Kate has the clarity of mind one would expect from a grown woman, yet she looks so young!!!

I also dont speak to my mother. Theres a lot of manipulation, criticisms and fear involved in our relationship and it’s painful but I have had to admit to myself that my days are more calm when i don’t speak to her

(Ps : I'm not a parent) but I think if a child under the age of 18 is interested in anything, I will encourage them to pursue it and require them to show up consistently for a set amount of time (days, weeks/months), whether or not they feel like it. My goal is to develop their character and I think this approach would force them to learn about perseverance, commitment and showing up for their goals even when they don't feel like it. Basically, they will learn not to be led by emotions. The snowball effect is that they'll be more resilient from the get go once they get to the outside world coz it's been programmed in them. Of course, there's a downside to this approach. 🙂 great conversations you're having here.

1 Timothy 5:4 NLT But if she has children or grandchildren, their first responsibility is to show godliness at home and repay their parents by taking care of them. This is something that pleases God.

Thank you for this. Still waiting for the second god verse.

I'm not repaying any devil that wants to destroy my life and report me to child protective services!

Ephesians 6:1-4 New International Version (NIV) “Honor your father and mother”-which is the first commandment with a promise- “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” 1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

My mother is the devil herself and her pedophile husband! You people don't know how evil some parents can be!

And this is why we never tell people but oh those are your parents you must do …... We are so sorry you went through that.
