for ANDROID it is better to use "Simple HTTP Server" made by "ubi.jp" in google play, with this app you can host any exploit host, you just need to put the exploit folder on your phone, activate "enable index.html" in the app and change "document root" to your exploit folder

hi there i was like you afraid of update to 7.55 but i get over it and update from 5.05 to 7.55 and thankfully it runs well with darkmodder host and most important thing is if you on 5.05 you lost hdr functionality from some games and some games didnot work with backport as my knowledge. if you need any more info iam happy to help

It took nearly took 2 year for jailbreak to go from 5.05 to 6.72... But took only a few months to go from 6.72 to 7.55... Don't get your hopes up but anything can happen.

An update is needed for your Backport tool as newer SDK game require a different approach. Also add a feature for whole base only modifiable, as it will help in replacing fake keystone file with the original. Get in touch with the guys oppois and cyb1k.

I don't need to explain to you why I jailbroke my PS4, but I will tell you that Sony is locking all digital products and apps on consoles that are not updated to FW8.03, so basically no one actually OWNS the digital products that were previously purchased. AND I hold the opinion that if you're going to pay $400-$600 on a console, you should be able to access all of the features, settings, options, and programs that the console comes with, just like a PC. ALSO, i'm not into multiplayer games, so I'm done paying $20+/month for a feature I never use. Anyway, back to my original question, does hosting the exploit locally make for a more stable jailbreak, or is this simply for someone with no, or poor internet connection?

NO!!! I am regretting to update to 7.55 early on. The jailbreak takes around 20 times to load. Wait for a couple of weeks meanwhile you should update to 6.72 it's now completely stable and you will also get super sampling mode in 6.72. 🥺 Im gonna retire from gaming for sometime until a more stable jailbreak comes

If you are not eager to play those games who require 7.55, then stay on 6.72. I find 7.55 unstable, lots of crashes and retries. I used on both fat and slim and almost all hosts available.
