When I read the verse about a weaker vessel, I thought of a beautiful, delicate tea cup. You treat that differently than a silver plated tankard. Both are precious in the sight of their owner, as both men and women are precious in the sight of God.

Thank you for this podcast. I truly enjoyed your works. In my studying of the scriptures I have found a couple things I found interesting, so I am sharing them with you. Being peculiar can mean special. I'll take that farther as saying "spiritual, special, peculiar". Not of this world. Servant is different than a slave. Servant could possibly mean child. I believe this makes you look at the scriptures in a different light.

Can you please give the citation for the Neal A. Maxwell quote that yiu gave around minute 57:30 ? It's about being released from this life to teach those in spirit prison. I couldn't find it. 🙏🏼

I appreciate, more than I can say, your wonderful lessons! I love this message about BEING IN THE PROCESS. I do disagree with the statement, “Jesus couldn’t have preached to everyone in Spirit prison in that short amount of time.” Of course He could! He’s God. Don’t we believe that He atoned for everyone single one of us while in Gethsemane and on the cross? He didn’t preach to them Himself because His way of building His kingdom is to involve us so that we can grow. He lets us spread the gospel, have callings and do temple work so that we can learn from our own experience how to serve, sacrifice and love.

I think the issue is the statement in D&C 138.28-29. Having to reconcile both contraries is a challenge. He is God. And yet the time component mentioned in those verse invites a participatory engagement with the work. Great comment.

We must never forget that there’s only one entity composed of a wife and her husband; a oneness which is only possible through Christ. See 3NE: 19 verse 1 (the second sentence of the verse). “Every man “ Every single one in that crowd. That is why they survive the catastrophe that befell the Nephites.
