My opinion... John Shank was pushing Richie out. Doing Richie's job. His mental state was delicate.

I can understand why he be upset ,someone else doing his part.He gets to the studio and nothing to do..Worse discison ever by Jon.. Be nice if Richie did come back but I don't think he will 😢I feel for Jon 2 he regrets doing that.Such a shame.I love the band have every album and seen them live ❤

I think they should’ve given Alec a better tribute than what they did. They definitely had enough footage of him to do a 3-5 minute collage at the end of the documentary… RIP AJS

I agree with you. I was surprised they didn’t use much more older interview clips throughout the documentary so that he could be better represented.

I agree with you guys. Wish they would have talked more about Alec being replaced and why Hugh played on the albums etc. And also more from Bob Rock about making those two monster albums and songs.

I’m actually from Oldbridge New Jersey, which is the next town over. But in my opinion, you really have to like Bon Jovi to watch all four episodes. Just way too much information and I like him.

I agree with you guys that I won’t go see them without Richie. I went to see them on the ‘This House Is Not For Sale’ tour and they should have billed it as ‘Jon & the Bon Jovis’. Totally not the same. And I don’t think I’d missed a tour since New Jersey. But put Richie back in and I’m there.

I agree with Vincent they aren't bon jovi without richie Same as the eagles, I refuse to go see them anymore They aren't the eagles without Glen Frey

Richie needs a good woman to take care of him. I could do it!!! Where would Jon be if Dorothea left him?

Richie does a great job on Bad Medicine in his concerts. And I knew Never Say Goodbye was pushed by Richie but I didn’t know it was his song and Jon did what he did but it doesn’t surprise me

Hey Mike long time listener, first time commenter. I really enjoyed your individuel thoughts on documentary, However I do to challenge Vincent. because he stated that there is a fuck trump sign in the doc, and having watched all 4 episodes and subconsciously looked for it. however it isn't there, but Jon was talking about the 2020 record which is filled with Social Commentary, but that isn't something new he did that on dry county. and since keep the faith, has mixed social commentary with the characters from slippery when wet. Secondly his politics hasn't actually anything to do with the music, and if you have paid attention to Bon jovi and Jon over the last 20'ish Years or so, he talks about giving back and helping changing the neighbor hood, not to whom you should vote for, two very separate things. With that said, I do wish the two of you all the best, and I will look forward to many more episodes, Kind regards from Denmark Tommy

Thanks for watching and for your comment! I didn’t see the sign either, not that I’m doubting Vincent (or you). I think most of us in America are completely burnt out on politics, so whenever our entertainment creeps into that area (for either side) Vin & I are disappointed. We simply want a break from all that nonsense. Saying all that, I 1000% agree with you. Jon gives back more than most and really deserves a lot of credit for that.

@@therockexperiencewithmikeb8365 While I am not a citizen of America, I completely understand the burnout from american politics, as it ufortunately has occupied the global news, It was just an observation, and agreed to the fact that Jon doesn't actually get the credit for all his charity work that he does. By the way as fan of both have you tried reaching out and ask if an interview is possible ? Kind regards

I’d love to get any member of Bon Jovi on the show! Maybe one day 🤞

The sign IS indeed in the final episode.

I think what upset Richie was the way Jon made it all about himself. Richie thought they should have celebrated the songs and history of them. I see what Richie is talking about; Jon always makes things about himself

he talked about bruce and south side johnny being his influences you def hear some of that in his songs but i think he lifted a ton from billy squier right down to how he formatted his band

Why does it hurt you when there’s ONE anti Trump moment? Seriously, it is very important for America and the whole world right now that this ultra dangerous man doesn’t become president again, and you Americans have the power to at least engage with this fact.

I don't go to see politicians to hear them sing I don't go to see a band to hear their politics Hence why I hate u2

Art/music is an expression of all things in life, all topics, some people are too thin skinned, offended by a song.....

Just watched the 6 hour documtary about Bon Jovi Oh hang on what i meant is a 6 hour doc about Jon Bon Jovi and 4 blokes who were his backing band , not very impressed with richie's treatment either Iv'e heard stories ever since i saw them with Kiss in 84 about him being not the nicest person to work for, starting to think its true

With the politics you need to separate the artist from the art.

First of all you're, another has been rock musician who thinks he's a rock star. We'll who makes you the right to tell tell anyone what what he should talk. Practice politically another thing. It's okay for you guy. There was no f Trump sign in this documentary. You're imagining it. And another thing. I can't stand when you guys say, but it's okay for you guys to say go Brandon. Oh, bite and sucks, which is not the name for. Which is the other name for Rick?
