Theo Von is similar, it's who he really is, only amplified for laughs/content. That's also why I love this podcast, because it's best friends and real back and forth. So to answer your theory, I believe there is no "character" but just Matt having enough free time to dive into another hobby and that stoner enthusiasm turns off the Bull.

I’m a loser, so I looked it up; that flute he bought is $200 and they go as high as $700 from what I saw. Also 432 hz is a psychedelic frequency. “The 432 frequency music heightens perception, increases the mental clarity of a person and unlocks intuition. Generally, this solfeggio frequency has been proven to be a healing frequency since it reduces anxiety, lowers the heart rate, and blood pressure.” Matt is on some different shit.
