We don't need another law. Every time you say we need a law acknowledge that a tax goes along with that to support it. And also with the vegan movement so popularized and political they're more likely to pass a law against meat. When man does something like the legislated fluoride it takes a very long time to be able to undo the damage and I do believe we're at the point of no return where we can't undo some of the damage that we've already done to our environment and health.

It could actually go down if I stopped buying some of the extra things I still buy once in a while (which are probably detrimental to our health anyway). Our food budget is between $400-$500 per month for the two of us, and could go down to closer to $300/month fairly easily. I’m all for everything on this list 100%. But until we can stop big food and big pharma from donating to campaigns and lobbying our leaders I think these big companies will write enough checks to make MAHA go away. Gotta get the money out.

@@msihcs8171 we could debate if anyone would accept a check, but I won’t go there. But I will say, one does not become rich by turning down checks. That being said, big food and big pharma have a track record of not having consumers best interests in mind (profits > people). Yes it was when the Rockefeller family owned a lot of farm and Dairyland when pasteurization became a law. They were able because they were a very rich family to get a machine that pasteurized milk. Mom and pop's farms couldn't afford the machine and that's when they started to lose their businesses. Because the Rockefellers political drag insured that that became a law.

I am a flaming progressive but I totally agree with you (and have been saying myself) that we can use this opportunity as a shake up. But how can new staff at regulatory agencies really change things with legalized bribery? Just this last term (on top of Citizens United) the Maga Supreme Court ruled that anti corruption and anti bribery statutes cannot be used if the bribe is delivered AFTER the favor. They redefined post-favor bribes as tips that are legal and would require new statutes against tips to make them illegal. So corporations can now legally and openly promise regulators huge TIPS after they retire, without going through the charade of giving them high paying retirement jobs with no work requirements and that is all legal!

Excellent ideas -- I hope some of them will be implemented. I do tend to agree with RFK Jr. on subsidies, though -- probably best to just stop all of them. The federal government shouldn't be in the business of propping up any kind of business, though if the states wanted to do it, they could. On having game be managed by farmers, I TOTALLY agree. I have often thought the same thing. It's called the tragedy of the commons when 'everyone' owns something, 'nobody' is really responsible for it. Or the opposite happens, which is where the game all belongs to the King (or, in America, to the government), and us peons have to buy permission to hunt the game.

The VA hospital in San Francisco gave my husband a solution of basically water and sugar for his feeding bag after he had his esophagus removed. This was the only food that he could have for months due to his feeding tube. I read the ingredients and asked the hospitals nutrition manager about why they would Feed a cancer patient sugar. He said that the solution was the basic standard of the American Medical Association. I was shocked because pretty much everyone knows that sugar (high frutose corn syrup) feeds cancer. Doctors rarely recommend a healthy diet for cancer patients. They tell their patients to eat like they Normally would which may also include diet Coke and other soft drinks. Everyone thought I was crazy on my stance with vaccines, fluoride, and several other topics he has shared on food quality perspective. All this sounds hopeful. I was raised on a family farm where our Jersey cow, Buttercup, was milked by hand twice a day. Strained through a cheesecloth before refrigerated. Cream two inches thick at the top. Oh, how I hated churning butter. Yielded about four cups every two days. Bright yellow. I attribute my lifelong good health to that farm, where everything was organic before “organic” was even a word. The only thing store boughten was salt, pepper, sugar, coffee etc. The ice cream made from that cream has not been equaled.

PS. Four kids plus our parents went through two gallons of milk daily. So, it didn’t have time to cause a problem. We kids LIVED to be able to kick off our shoes and start “getting our feet tough”. But, Mom said “No. Not until May 1st.” Then we could go barefoot starting on May 1st. Come to find out, “earthing” and “grounding” is one of the healthiest things you can do. Tons of articles about it.

I do agree with the nutritional advice you’re putting forward as I have personally (and others) experienced the benefits following those. As a Canadian I have no say in the way a radical shift could be implemented in the US political establishment. I appreciate the bottom up approach that your YT channel contributes to the needed shit in all of the Western world. The medical establishment is in serious need for a radical change as well. When an institution such as “Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine” is permitted to operate suggesting silently that those who don’t adhere to their principles are “irresponsible”; that doesn’t serve the possibility of further learning from those who have different opinions. From a science perspective it’s a total lack of ethics.

I also agree with his nutritional advice. I am a US citizen. Nothing good is going to come of this “presidency”. 1. Incentivize regenerative and organic practices. Provide free educational classes for all farmers that are interested in learning these farming techniques. 2. Reduce regulation for mom-pop farms and butchering businesses to make it easier for farm-to-consumer sales. Small farms cannot compete with the same regulations as big-Ag. 3. Put a public health warning label on all products containing glyphosate . 4. Reduce or remove government funding for sugar beet farmers and seed oil mono-cropping.

I agree we need to do better with our food source but unfortunately, the Trump Admin is going to make our foods worse! Bigger scaled farms using more pesticides, small farmers pushed out more. Read Project 2025. Regulations removed and food companies can use even more chemicals. So while I like what this doctor is saying, he sounds like he is from Britain so has more of a European mindset, we will have an administration coming in that is actually promoting the opposite with deregulations and supporting more industrial farms and more chemicals can be used. Everything this doctor is saying is great but Trump is the absolute WRONG administration to promote this. IN fact, I am surprised many people are not saying, oh this doctor sounds so socialist! It is a mindset that is more European and people in the USA just literally voted against anything remotely sounding like European. Anyone who is loving what this doc is saying and yet voted for Trump, you basically are going against your interest.

I think we can agree that most of these issues come from poor soil management. Chromium has been depleted for years. The liver can't really handle all the sugar that people eat without it. I remember a rat study that they cured diabetes in rats with Chromium and vanadium. It is surprising farmers were not advised of that. Also the host of minerals we need. I take Tangy Tangerine 2.5 and eat grass fed beef organs regularly because it has these, and we really don't get the minerals from food.

We cannot tell people what to eat but we can have programs that educate parents about healthy food choices. We also must be careful about what we advocate because there is much controversy in the food and nutrition field about what actually is healthy. Meat vs vegetarian still remains very controversial among experts for example. But there definitely are areas that are not controversial, such as highly processed foods, junk foods, soda, sugar, and overeating in general.
