I love how being women of God is part of our culture. We have to be the people in the Bible. Who is more peculiar than black people. People of praise and purpose.

It’s ok to have a voice Trina, you’re an adult with your own beliefs. It’s not being disrespectful to your mom. Great conversation ladies.

Ms E is hurt. Braxton was the ONLY man she has been with before the divorce and had ALL his kids and raised them and he just up and leave her with the kids. He ruined her life, im sure she love her kids but omg 30+ years and 9 years of cheating and lies
@Babycakesj Жыл бұрын
No one can ruin your life unless you allow them. Yes, what he did was disgusting but at some point, you have to choose to move on and not let the hurt permanently take over you. If you don’t, it’s like you’ll be stuck and your growth will be stunted.
@mildredbailey7186 Жыл бұрын
Ms E has a right to feel disgusted by Braxton throwing his affair in her face and thereafter to stomach them both at family gatherings. And Yes it up to her to excel from it and move on . But it's also something she may forgive being Christian but to NEVER forget and apply to future reltnshps as well. Vows spoken and vows broken needs to be attested and rested.
@kat64470 Жыл бұрын
Forgiveness is part of a Christian journey. Whew, I had to forgive a man that helped me ruin my life and I had the breakthrough of a lifetime once I told him I understand he is hurt, and I forgive him. A lil demon wanted me to stay in unforgiveness .
@loveallshay1659 Жыл бұрын
@@Babycakesjfirst love, first lover, first baby daddy, first boyfriend, first everything that a hard. I understand your saying but when you been threw and get hurt a couple of times then yes choose to move on. She still can’t get a man because she’s still in love with him

I hate that the Braxton sisters always had to covered up the truth about their mother being bitter. You can tell the truth without being disrespectful. The episode with them and Iyanla said it all. She told their mother that fish rots from the head. her bitterness rolls down to her daughters. their mother wasn't in a space to hear or receive what Iyanla was trying to help her with.

This was a perfect opportunity to talk about menopause in a more serious manner. Share what you did to address your issues. Hormone replacement? Diet? Holistic? Etc?? Very disappointing.

I don't think Tina's mom is staying single because of divorce trauma. She may choose to stay single because of religious reasons. Trina and her Mom may not be in the same level of religious commitment and spirituality. I know her mom loves her but it's not Trina's place to discuss her mom's business.

Or she could be like my Grandmom, her mother and sisters and just do want to be bothered anymore. Being in a relationship, is a lot.
