You’re making great progress on the roof! I hope you get that wall down before winter. It looks like a lot of work deconstructing and hauling the stones elsewhere. Hopefully you will have what we call ‘Indian summer’ here in the states where you get a period of lovely late summer weather. The bird song in the background was very melodic today! ❤

When are you going to paint your kitchen and finish it?

Hi Jackie, we have to dig 2 to 3 feet of soil from the outside wall before we can prep and paint the back walls of the kitchen. Then we have to take up and replace the floor which we can't do until we have decommissioned the boiler which we can't do until we install water ballons around the place which has to be done at the same time as the re-plumbing of the whole place. The short answer is we don't know when.

Just curious, do you know what the purpose of this wall was originally? Part of a building or an internal division in the courtyard?
