Somewhere in my travels, I saw someone putting frames inside of frames. So, I got brave and tried it with a really big frame from the thrift store, painted to coordinate with my wall color. Turned out impressive! (Shocked me I even considered the attempt!)---Those 'perambulators' could have been for a child. The Victorians were specific in creating realism for their children too. And then, even tho' women were smaller in those days, those buggies still looked a bit small for a baby with all the garments and blankets, etc.

Great job! We found a honey hole that sells those barrister bookcases for 25.00 ! Needless to say we bought 4 last visit . Love, love your videos! Happy New Year from Ohio 🎉🎉🥂

Score on the book cases!!!! I grab them whenever I find them, even if I have to pay up for them. I have a customer that has over 200 of them in her house. She is always looking for more and she pays close to top dollar for them. That glass is easy and cheap enough to replace and the wood damage isn't too bad to be untreatable either. Well done you two. Cheers!!

I have a cabinet like that but it is a card catalog from an old library. I took 5-6 layers of paint off to find the tiger maple underneath. Oiled it and not it holds my beads for jewelry making. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️Fun video!

As for the snot here goes the nurse in me.... The nose job is to warm and moisturize air before it gets to the lungs. Cold dry air irritates the nose and the nasal glands this produces moisture to protect the nasal lining.

You two found some really nice old treasures, the card viewer a nice piece, I wonder if stereo cards couldn't be used in it?? Just LUV everything you got, I had a good time with you, wish I could purchase some too,but I'll leave that up to you youngsters. All my very best, Carol

Hi BB, I prefer to watch your (great) videos about the garage sales to those “dealer” sales. Dealers are asking high prices because they know the market, so it must be difficult to find an item that will give you a (big) profit. Garage sales can be full of surprises, for example ep. 29, the Birks silver...wow! Love to hear your opinion. Happy New Year 2020! Lara, The Netherlands.

Hi Rob and Karen. I'm loving that you still have garage sale videos to post. Has the snow started piling up yet?
@BargainBarons5 жыл бұрын
Oh yes we have a couple feet of snow, but it's been unusually warm this year, so not as much as we would normally have - so the farmers will be upset this spring... 🤣😂😁

The barrister bookcase is worth 300 dollars even in the shape it’s in? Getting in the truck, “cameras in”. Too funny good to see you made it in too Rob.
@BargainBarons5 жыл бұрын
Oh yes.. simply because of what it is. Once Karen strips it and has the wood showing again it'll be worth closer to $1000.

Karen, instead of a larger home, you could look into a 2 story “She Shed” for the back yard.
