Качественная реакция и объективная. Действительно, Dimmu Borgir являются исключительной группой своего жанра, таким могут похвастаться если только Cradle of filth. Шикарный коллектив группы и очень умный вокалист. DM - сила, мощь, красота!)

I listened a few sings but in 10 days I’ll see them live for the first time in Leyendas del Rock, a spanish festival where I’ll see too Jinjer, Tarja with Marko and Unleash the Archers among others…

Dimmu Borgir are my favourite band BUT this is without their amazing clean singer and bassist "ICS Vortex" who has a majestic voice, and without Mustis (their old keyboard player) who really added to the atmosphere of the band. Every Dimmu album has a different style/sound so every song you check out (studio versions) will be a new experience for you. They were VERY heavy and dark in their "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" days, with songs like "Tormentor of Christian Souls". My favourite song is "Hybrid Stigmata" but a better example is "The Insight and the Catharsis" (studio version, not live). Please check it out, it is absolutely phenomenal! 🤘

If you want more, Progenies of the Great Apocalypse live from the same performance, but also listen to the studio version. The live version is missing the powerful vocals of ICS Vortex, but is still an impressive performance.

If you want to hear something similar but different, I suggest broken jade by chthonic. Taiwanese symphonic extreme metal 🤘🏻

No big dimmu borgir fan, tho this song is really good. Dip your toe in the darkest water of symfonic metal 😁.

Check out some songs from Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Spiritual Black Dimensions, or Puritcanical euphoric misanthropia. That’s when they were in their prime. Gateways is by far their most overrated song.
