I've been right in all of those especially Karina and Belian. Albedo s2 needs more love. That's about it. Thx for sharing those builds! Helps alot. That's how I build her was 0 crit counter out the jump. I just don't have the best gear on her

I use her as a Aurius knight, works pretty ok. 20% cd reduction is very solid, defense break on s3 also help to nuke target down. But yes, I still think she needs some buff, maybe provoke on s1 or a little something else for s2 bicorn.

I like her, i think she's a versatile unit; tanky enough to survive, supports the team with 20% less crit damage taken, and opens up for my main damage dealers by doing significant chip damage and landing buff strip, unbuffable, and defence break (whcih lands on most bruisers even though i only have her 30% effectiveness).

I am curious about how much input the IP's owner has in designing the character's abilities in the game they colab with. Does the game company have full autonomy in creating skill sets to interact with their game world? Or does the owners of the IP have a say in how they want their characters to perform in that game world?

Yeah after using her a while I realized the damage may not be very very impressive but when we look at her on a long game she actually does hurt the enemy's potential, just use her on counter set. But my eaton still does better numbers I use them side by side, and they're really good together! Both of them have mitigation and could be used with lrk or candy or pylis.

but if you need a grass bruiser, we already have Alencia and Charles, and ... Mort. Albedo need a more clear role for her, now she's just half tank (because of her passive, 20% dmg reduce for the whole team) and half dmg dealer. I really like to build her a full tank with Aurius. But her S1 will be wasted, her s1 did nothing just push her cr up. If she can become a true tank, her s1 must have something on it, like a Provoke or strip enemy's buff or anything but self-cr push.

Thanks for you work and test for Albedo, I´m really appreciate you can show the numbers (I don´t understand why people think doing the maths is a waste of time) this video is a proof of the numbers NEVER lie so ANY opinion is only sensation, number is evidence so I believe anyone say Albedo is garbage is: one never test the unit and think this is a ML Landy a broken unit so Albedo don´t do that so is bad unit🤡 or doesn´t know how to play with a Knight 🤷‍♂

I love that she is very reactive to the Meta, imo. With her S2, she can really mess up some teams for beginners and Mid game players. Again, IMO. I went for Counter Crit it works with her at 25k HP, 1500 Def, 90% Crit Chance, and about 260 Crit Damage. On 3F at +15, it does the job alright. I did team her with Arowell, and they do well together. Gonna work on Bad Kitty Armin as well to make a defensive team.

What spd are you able to get her at the full tank build though? Because I feel like it’s going to be impossible to spd tune her properly vs real time opponents without them cleansing your debuffs. They will pick off all your dps before she can even go, because even with spd buff she is going to be slow af. I think if they made her s2 an extra attack with some sort of debuff or more utility for your team (barrier/def buff/cleanse/pushup/etc) and maybe shorten the cooldown she would be a lot better. As is I don’t think she’s great when a lot of other tank options are available. Been running 24k hp 300 crit dmg on 160 spd does not feel good. Edit: not to mention at full tank you’re not going to be able to build enough res to resist being controlled yourself. So she may only be providing the dmg reduction. Idk maybe I just don’t know how to use her or don’t have a draft that fits her into my playstyle

I've been saying she's fine, her damage actually feels decent...but I run a heavy Crit build. 26.8k HP, 1467 Def, with 275% CD and 3F. I use Destruction/Pen set on her so her speed is only 172 but I've been having a lot of fun using her. If she really needed a buff, I'd be fine with her getting 20-30% CR push when she procs Bicorn, since that allows her to cut the opponent and potentially be useful against one of her counters being Lionheart.

Glad you're enjoying her. There's a lot of negativity around her so that's why I wanted to make this video. I think the backlash is so high that they'll probably do something. My worry is if they do and people complain that they made it too good...it'll be Arbiter/Apoc Ravi/etc. all over again. And then people will cry how they don't have Albedo like they don't have Karina, etc. It's why I have to be more level headed with my takes. CCs who fly off the handle and get the mob up in a frenzy...if the company listens to you and it backfires...that just makes things even worse between SG & the Playerbase.

Like if the buff is giving her more utility like CR push on her S2 or strips 2 buffs or even adding a debuff to S2 then I'm fine with it. But to just give her more damage is kinda risky...I had matches where my S2 hit a cleave team for 5-6k...If they increased it more, I'd potentially be able to 1 shot an entire cleave team by just her S2 and that is not healthy for the game...Especially since Albedo's counter is automatic as long as your allies was hit by a Crit. Could you imagine if SG listened to the players back when Aespa came out and buffed Karina? She's already one of the most broken units in the game...and while Albedo is definitely not on her level, Albedo still isn't in that bad of a position. Giving her a buff could easily back fire to being an insanely OP unit. Also it's funny all these people are saying she's Mid and she's to mid to be a collab unit. When in reality, Most collab units are Mid right now...Only select few collab units are even decent in RTA right now. Jacko the only GG unit seen in RTA (sure Baiken for Banshee), dont really see Rem/Emilia much, Rimuru is seen but meta kinda pushed Milim out already and Karina is the only Aespa character that is used outside a few match ups where Winter is good. Albedo is better than most Collab units when you think about it.

Using destro cc neck, speed boot and hp set one can get an Albedo with 30k hp, 260 cdam, 1.4k def and 170 speed. So I don't see why not going the crit route.

cause her HP pop scaling damage is So damn good you are giving up on a ton of potential damage from her S1 (counter) with CC or CD neck over HP. If you can pull off the gear then sure - critD does a lil more but that gear prob should be allocated to a better unit.

@@TristenWulf Tbh that kind of gear has become niche, it's basically just Apoc. Well, aside from the cc neck. And she's not really a unit nowadays, so the choice isn't as hard anymore. Still, I appreciate your point of view. I just wrote counter off because so many cleave/aggro units have uncounterable, so it sounded like lost value. But maybe she's usable outside of anticleave. That is something I did not consider.

Lilias on all 90s with torrent hp is 7719 assuming no wasted subs I'm sure this actually doesn't matter for the calcs but just wanted to help

I've played a LOT of matches with albedo, shes not insanely good, but in the matches she's good, she's amazing. I love her kit a lot, and I'm glad that people are down playing her lmao. Buff her: yay. Don't: I don't mind. Edit: Oh yeah, and tank down is back

The issue with this is the fact those characters labeled as bad before her exceeded what ppl initially thought after use (still confused about belian since I swear people were upset about her busted passive). Meanwhile she’s exactly what people thought from seeing her kit. She’s ok at best but not worth investing compared to the other knights. The main reason being her stat thresholds, not everyone will meet those minimums yet other knights have lower thresholds and still give just as much value or more in comparison. For a limited collab character she shouldn’t be an ok character with high end gear. She should at least be above average when using such gear. Not busted mind you but not a afterthought either. In my opinion she’s nearly at that spot. All she needs is a small tweak. Similar to how Ed got his for example, a small change/buff that made his use worth investing into. What that could be is the main question. 😅

Everyone pulled for albedo so there is no financial reason to tweak her prior to testing is fully done, We wont see her changed before a rerun unless the Overlord IP asks for it for some reason. I agree 95% oh your thoughts. The only 5% is between wht to buff if she ever needed one. Her S2 certainly needs some extra something but wht I think it needs is to actually proc wit her arti. Sometimes I see only 2-3 units get hit but all connected (0 miss) and I get screwed by the end, idk. The other would be her S1 wit minor dmg increase via molla

I'm already an adamant shield abuser so I see her value as a mit tool. What i do think she needs is some changes to the bicorn. I'd like at least one more strip on it. As for 3F it will probably work better on someone like mort or illynav. Possibly a future unit with cringe health scaling.

Personally my Albedo Is another variant of Arowell or Light Armin SPD HP HP DEF RES EFF subs Counter and on Aurius Minimal Crit Imo Crit isnt worth Hardly more DMG hut much easier to kill Just stack HP to tank and S1

My Lili is stronger is crazy. 7800 hp 4200 attack on torrent speed. About 237 speed and 315 320 CD she deletes tanks that don’t have mitigation on another units 34k s3 with atk buff no vigor on a 24 wind rider.

From what take is she just decent as long she has crazy gear. Not that many players have those stats thresh holds. people are better off with other units with less stats threshold and doing more work. Hp has no buff that increases the dps like speed, atk and def. Plus it will be nice for the limit collab units to warp the meta at least for 2-3 months. In conclusion she needs buffs so even decent gear can be viable as well.

@@TristenWulf That’s fair.. and it’s probably as much a matter of player perspective. I’m a day1 player who’s long since given up on try-hard or keeping up with the meta. I play things because I “want” to. At least for me, when it comes to collabs I think about what makes sense to a wide variety of player. Ultimately playing a thing because it’s interesting to you on some level hits nail on the head in terms of collab unit, to me. Aside from the skins I’m not seeing what’d draw anime fans/new players or the range of veteran players aside, maybe, from the niche who enjoy the aspect of detailed theory crafting/crunching numbers. As with any game that lasts beyond a point it becomes increasingly difficult for devs to create something that hits on all points for all player types, which is why I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect something unique. Ainz somewhat does this.. least for me… but measured against their attempts to do something “on theme” by making him melt against light units. 😂

Honestly most Collab units are Mid when you think about it...When's the last time you seen any GG units outside of Jacko (or Baiken for Banshee). Rem and Emilia come and go from time to time and not even counting that half of Aespa aren't even good. Albedo is better then most Collab units right now.

The problem is she's very mediocre. She doesn't hit hard, she doesn't really protect, and her s3 needing eff hurts a bit because she needs spd set, 30k hp & close to 200 spd or counter set with 30k hp, max crit, 200ish cdam, and any speed left over. Her s3 is crucial to her being useful, so you've got to find eff too. It's hard to do, honestly.

@TristenWulf I can concede that point. But in the current state of the game, she's just not impactful enough and is immediately rendered useless by injury (an issue with all hp scalers, tbf). She does shine with really high-end gear, but that's more the gear than her kit. Maybe I'm just wrong, I don't know. But as a collab unit, she just doesn't 'feel' impressive. But then Ainz is kind of the same. His S3 is incredible on paper, and his s1 can be awesome, but he's so gear intensive, and easily countered by meta units like Adin, Candy, LHC, Seline, Nahkwol, Phantom, ignore ER in general, and any light dps. heck, just running a slow, hard-hitting team negates his impactfulness. And then there's his biggest issue: 15%.

@@TristenWulf While I personally find her to be really fun to use myself. I can understand why other people are disappointed with how she plays. I also feel part of it is that with Overlord being the player bases most requested collab for years, and the fact that we had not had a collab for, so long people's expectations were sky high. In the end Smile Gate chose to play it safe, and left many people to feel very underwhelmed. I do think that Ains should have been the other banner unit instead of Shaltear.
