The Epirus player not pushing in his infantry was a huge mistake

Wonderful strategy used by Parthia, the truth is that when you know how to use factions that are good at cavalry, you make life impossible for any rival in siege battles. Epiro on the other hand played it too badly; In this game all the Greek factions have a lot of advantage against the cavalry factions because they have hoplites, thureophores and pikemen. So, that player only had to do what Apollo said at the end of the video (that is, quickly enter the city with his entire army and cover the openings in the walls with hoplites), if you stay outside standing by the cavalry, you are only doing exactly what your opponent wants (distract you).

Love the tournament battles but they use basically the same factions everytime gets repetitive when watching the full tournament

There is a tier list for these tournaments. The lesser factions normally get the love during the group stages as you get more points for using them. The big hitters come in during playoffs

Because the tournament is based off a point system the better the faction the more points taken off of you win it makes people use the worse factions to advance in the tournament
