I think that single hole in the south wall was so that whole section of wall could be used by the attackers archers and the only way up is the west side where the attackers infantry have already occupied. Makes it impossible for their archers to get stormed as long as infantry covers the ground entrance.

Very clever move from attackers right at the begining and even Apollo missed it. They breached two sides of the wall and put archers on the wall. So defenders had no way to reach them through the walls! Great way to secure your archers.

Really would like you to do a bit on Dominions 5, amazing game albeit its not a pretty game or look like much on its steam page. But damn its a top 5 game for me. Fair warning it does have a learning curve but still has a losing is fun kind of feel. Its a 4x grand strat will give some TW vibes and if you love the ancient mythos and magic you cant miss out on it.
