Hello, what a lovely video, I also love the Beatles,and especially LOVE ME DO, great music, seems to put you in a good mood too. Lovely to see Pete looking so well, your garden certainly did need a trim,every thing looked so green and healthy. Just loved the lace you showed,I also love lace. Your sweater was so beautiful, a beautiful knit to see always. Have you ever looked at the I.O.D transfers and inlays and other things they produce, great things for crafting,I am sure you would love to see.2 sisters who started this company with very nice products to craft with.I am not sure,because you already have so much going on,but you might like to see them.alway love your pleasant chats,kind regards Pamela Hall

You're right about the good mood, you just have to hum it and tap your foot. They have trimmed one side of the garden but the other side had to wait until next week. Everything is growing at a rate of knots with the amount of rain. I've taken a look at the I O D transfers, thank you. You never know when you might need them, so good to know about them. Take care xx

As always, that was such a lovely chat - I love hearing your chatty “diary”! I have been looking for absolutely ages for a book of embroidery ideas and I’m so glad you showed the book today - that was exactly what I was looking for, so I have now placed an order! I’m not sure how I’ll get on, with only having elementary embroidery skills, but all I can do is practise and continue to be inspired by your sewing skill! Thank you, Pene xx

Oh Pene, love to look at the things on your craft table. That lace is beautiful, and I'm sure you'll think of something to make using it. Beautiful colours on the pink jumper, you seem to knit them whilst I'm thinking about it. I want to stop procrastinating (notice I didn't say 'should') I'm listening and learning. My macaron parcel arrived today, wish me luck. Pete looks very well and the garden is lovely after haircut. Happy crafting

It was lovely to catch up with you. The bridal cross stitch is a beautiful keepsake. Time flies! It's our wedding anniversary next weekend. We married in 1990, four days after my 21st birthday. Your jumper is coming along, and the colours are perfect together. I'm currently crocheting a shawl in a beautiful silk and merino. It's a simple pattern, but my foggy brain keeps messing it up. Think I'll do a bit of vanilla sock knitting instead. Have a good week. Hope you can make the most of the warm dry weather. Xx

Have a lovely anniversary. I'm looking forward to the jumper being finished. The top down seems to grow so quickly. The yoke on my jumper kept getting messed up as I was watching snooker at the same time - can't be done now! Always a vanilla sock for comfort and reward. We have a lovely sunny afternoon here and my bones are beginning to settle, hope it lasts a few days. xx

Hello! I have been a bit late to watch your latest episode. Work keeps me busy and I have to look at my work as I do it so I wait until I can watch the episode properly. You put so much in this one! I love it! Starting your filming with the view of your garden out the window is just the best. I love your garden and can just imagine having even a small one of such perfection. The trim at the end is impressive. I can see where you have to get the team in to handle all the gorgeous big trees and bushes. It continues to amaze me how much crafting you get done in a week or two. Everything is so gorgeous. I think it is super that you can make the men socks. The lace you bought is so yummy. I have learned quite a lot about lace through selling it on ebay when I buy large lots at house sales and such. The little embroideries in the Simply Sweet book that you want to do for your macarons are so appealing. You could do the sheep since you are so fond of French knots. So many designs to choose from. Talking of the Lavender & Lace designs, I have sold many of those when I buy them at sales. So gorgeous! But I could never manage to make one. Committing a year to a piece would take thinking about. Pete is looking really well. You both look quite comfy in your new chairs. I think we call them "chair and a half". Not sure. Love Me Do is such a great song and I admit it is the first of Pete's choices that I am familiar with. Your book and accompanying embroideries on the roll is so interesting. Beads in a jar still catch my attention. Seeing your dear family out for a meal is heartwarming. Stay well and keep letting us share your life. I love it!

I loved hearing about all the groups you saw as they were just starting out. What a great time to be to be growing up. So much music is manufactured by machine these days. It reminded me that my Uncle could play a variety of instruments and would be a session or support for some groups in Birmingham. Apparently the Spencer Davis Group including Steve Winwood played in my Grandma's front room (which was very small) a couple of times. It must have been loud 😁 Your new jumper is coming along really well Pene. I love felted tweed and I'm collecting the odd ball so I can make something very colourful one day. Why are the days so short we can't fit all the crafting in? 😍
@penelopeschinwag4 ай бұрын
Fantastic Anne, how wonderful Steve Winwood in the front room, what larks. I'm finding the felted tweed is a loose knit. It will be fine though.
