This podcast just brightens my day! This is how I imagine each of you would answer a random question. Question: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Cary - Do I have to take the wrapper off first? Do I lick all the way around or just on one side? Will there be a cash incentive at the end of this challenge? Will there be a higher incentive if I stick it to my face or in my hair? Dave - I can't find the tootsie pops, Cary.. see if Dawn will get us some more. 47:00 - eBay does not allow you to charge a restocking fee. That stopped being a thing over five years ago. Additionally, if you sell an item with free returns, you have to pay for the return label. The only way you can deduct an amount from the refund is if it comes back in a different condition than how it was sent. There's a list of percentages you can deduct based on the condition. For example, if you sent a new item in a sealed box and they returned it open, you're only allowed to deduct 10%.

The option for deduction is for when items are returned not as they were sent. Broken, Opened etc. It is against eBay policy to charge restocking fee. You could deduct the return shipping (even though you're not supposed to) but you would have to say that the item arrived back in worse condition than you sent it to him. I would suggest to just not return the original shipping and move on, unless it does arrive switch out or cracked or something. If you use that option too much or when you are not supposed to you will not have to option to use when you really need to. (This is in essence what happened to Paul)

An OZONE machine is a must have for any reseller of used good. Helps to remove any type of smells for almost any type of item. I have been able to remove smoke smells from books, shoes, games and clothing. If the smell is really bad you may not completely get rid of it tho. It can also help get rid of that musty basement smell from books and board games. Must have reselling tool.

Dave you should be able to click payments on your dashboard go under summary then on the right it shows recent activity, Shows payouts, label costs and credits. Your shipping label costs should show up there.

We have the perfect mister fan. its by ryobi, cordless, charger and 18v battery, it runs for 5 hrs on one charge. The fan sits on top of a 5 gallon bucket, sucks the water up and turns it into a mist, pretty powerful

Hello Gentlemen 😊 Just yesterday, I order 6 Blouses & 6 Paddle pushers Pants for $86 from Walmart for My Dear Mother and 3rd Party Shipping was $6 an item. I WAS LIKE CANCEL THAT S*** FAST. It’s a Rip Off for Seniors that don’t pay attention. Walmart NEVER order again. 👎🏽

I took notes for this episode like a college lecture. Not to learn anything, just to contribute this comment. On granny, there was some white powder on Kevin’s scale. Dave - return refunding like that may cause a negative feedback though? Also - I always record opening returns. Include the label and opening it and all. Just this week a friend of mine got scammed on a buyer only shipping back an empty DS case without the game. Kevin needs to quit offing all the dogos and get them back on the WiFi generator wheel, rough connection this week. When all the cicadas were everywhere I did sell a “specimen” on eBay just to see if I found an infinite money glitch. 3 weeks to get 1 order 😂

I ran a toy department when Small Soldiers was current. I remember each case of 6 action figures had 3 of the main good guy, 2 of the main bad guy and then only 1 other figure. So you had to open like 12 cases just to get a complete set. I think I still had dozens of each of the 2 common characters when the store went out of business.

They don't assign page unsubs to videos as far as I can tell. If you dig into your stats you will see a separate stat for unsubs from pages. My sub blip upon launching a video is much smaller than yours so it is much easier to see if they were unsubbing from the video or not.
