In this episode of J3 University, Luke and I are joined by Joe Jeffrey to discuss the transition from contest prep into the offseason. The post show period is vulnerable time for rapid fat gain and in the presence of high levels of fatigue. The approach discusses will cover how to set up diet, training, cardio, health markers and PEDs from prep into post show and what that progression of all variable should be as we phase into the offseason.

the reduced hunger from wearing a weighted vest is something ive heard before. im not sure of the mechanism, ive heard some theories of maybe it's signalling adequate loading on the bones.

I rebounded 10 kg within 7 days post show. That's with 1 sloppy day and a maintenance calorie diet with only slightly increased carbs. Strange thing was absolutely no edema and very minor shin pumps. 2 weeks later I'm the same weight, cardio is perfect. It's not necessarily a bad thing to rebound so heavy if the harsh symtoms aren't present. Now the truth is hardly any bf gain it was down to water depletion and glycogen. 37.5 mg of Dyazine only pre show and 3 in morning of show also.
