Because I did not want to add a heavy load backwards, I had to move the flashlight (4S, 5000mAh) back so that it partially (25mm) extends into the fuselage. I pushed everything else back as well. Therefore I had to put the flashlight over the servos and receiver. The space for the flashlight is completely unused. It would have to have a flashlight half weight (capacity). Center of gravity 110 mm. Flight weight 4300 g. First landing without flaps. It flies perfectly. A steady, deceitful flight, without trying to fall into a corkscrew. With a little thermic, the flashlight is enough for 2 hours of flight. Even when gently landing on not too tall grass, the wing locks often open. I am concerned that the locks used match the weight and span of the model. I guess they probably match the previous version of the model (3.5 m).

My experience with the XL2 4m, 6000 mah battery pushed forward as far as it will go appears to have a perfect CG, amazing glide ratio and glides in to land so slowly with full crow set up on landing mode controlled by the throttle, ie less throttle more crow. Never had a problem with the wing locks.

Sorry Guys. A flying model looks nice, but the quality of this glider is ridiculous. Sooo many problems, so many bubbles on the foil. A very BAD and cheap Elevator connector. Bowden cables, thats not fixed - and bend, if u have drag on the control faces....u have to put in sooo much work, to fly it safe, that this model is so much overpriced....

The wing covering does bubble, especially in the hot sun here in Western Australia but disappears with a good ironing. The fully floating elevator is centrally pivoted so I assume that there will not be high strains on the cable. I have fitted solid carbon pivot and control rod on the elevator instead of the hollow ones that were supplied. I have rolled and dived out of thermals and flown aggressively without any problems. What similar powered gliders are available at a better price? I consider my Epsilon 4m xl v2 fair value for the money.
