Fantastic Video, excellent explanation and visual description of the core concepts and principles of EDC. Great introduction for novices and clarity for the more seasoned Preppers! Thanx for all your videos, they really helped me understand and appreciate many aspects of Prepping and Surival!

I suggest fishing leaders or wire for snares, a mini fishing kit with eyelets to make a fishing pole and a Ketalist Titanium for cooking. Almost everything tastes better cooked, ability to boil easily allows you to keep your drinking container safer and adds more foods to your survival menu like acorns. The addition of checking traps and fishing lines allows your mind to stay sharp and can keep away depression.

Hey there. Great kit. Would you add a fixed blade and maybe pocket saw for fire & shelter for the ..what if situation? Just to have that capability handy. Maybe a protein bar and spare battery? I know your swisstool has some scissors on it, but I've been carrying a pair of Klein 2100-7 communication shears for years as dedicated scissors in their dedicated belt sheath with my farmer SAK in the place where the splicing knife goes. Heavy duty scissors are hard to beat, and these can cut through a penny.

You said you carry your pistol in the small of your back, I hope you carry it off to the side. If someone pushes you and you land on your back it can leave you paralised. Hate being a safety sam but it was one of the first things we were taught when arranging our webbing.

Great video man. I just got a pack from the local army surplus store. It's made by Fox Outdoors/Fox Tactical. It says its made from "tactical polyester." From what i understand its a tougher polyester weave that's coated to give the same strength/water resistant as 900 denier nylon. Any thoughts on if that really works as well? Ever come across any Fox Outdoors/Tactical gear before? Thanks. Take care to you and the whole E2E team.

If you don't carry your spare mags on your person you should switch your mags out to Glock 22 mags. It'll give you a few extra rounds just in case. I like the idea of separate purpose specific pouches in your kit. Thanks for the great videos

As always, well done sir. Question about your bag; do you find the military type of bags a distraction or attention getter in public? I use a camo hunting bag, (common here in the rocky mtns) but I like the versatility of your bag. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, keep it up.

Items I'd consider adding: 4" pair of vise grips, compressed roll of duck tape, zip ties, couple of 5 hour energies or similar, 10' single plug extension cord + 3 plug travel surge protector, USB 10' extension cable, small assortment of common fasteners (screws and nails), sew your name and VoIP based phone number into the inside of the bag so if its lost it can be returned but not your address that way you have to go meet them to get it and they don't know where you live.
@danielvandersteeg502311 жыл бұрын
You should compress the storm matches with some cottonballs or something like that. If they move around and light up, your container will explode! Great video, thank you.

Hey Adam only suggestion would be a small roll of duct tape. Very multi purpose item anything from gear repair, fire starting, extra cordage, tourniquet etc... I'm sure you probably know more uses for it than me.

Great videos, I've just seen a few of them and subscribed. I have a comment/personal opinion. Working for the manufacturing industry I understand that mostly everything that's made from titanium (Ti) is actually done from a Ti-Al alloy since Ti is such a hard material to work. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend having eating or drinking utensiles made from titanium since they may all also have aluminum and that stuff once injested finds its way to the brain and that doesn't do any good.

I've been thinking of getting a German Shepard for a guard/family dog.I know trained dogs are expensive though.Are there any training videos on the market to help me train him/her myself?I have trained english pointers and labs for bird dogs for years so I think I might could manage.Thanks Adam.
@gonnabeadoctorsoon211 жыл бұрын
Actually Michael, that is the preferred way to eat. Rations dehydrate you worse in emergency situations. EDC is designed to provide you the tools you need to survive, not a supply train. Water, fire and shelter are the single most important things to do in an emergency situation, with water and shelter being the top two in equal portions. Food is near last priority.

Not that anyone will chew on the stuff but when you wash, boil and handle those items small particles come loose and will eventually get to where we don't need it or want it. Of course, not nearly as bad as using all aluminum but maybe something to think about...
