10k++ hours and never have, never will. With these kinds of open-world games, I have never felt the need to end the game - certainly not via the remove bracelet path. I've reserved that for when I finally decide to move the addicition to some other game that ticks as meny boxes - or Funcom abandon it and it breaks. I certainly have rerolled my character, have stored many of each of the items required for 'ending', but not visiting Chaosmouth. I think de-braceleting is there purely for completionists or speed-runners, not me. 😁 (Although, I think the vanilla game certainly is endable and I moved to modded gameplay years ago, so my view doesn't really count)

Never have completed the game, I primarily play on Siptah. Is there a similar quest line for escaping Siptah.

If Funcom had the workflow to have created more DLC islands then the ending would have been a great way to progress your character down a larger narrative crossing all the game's lands.

Thanks for the video. I've been playing this game for over 1700 hours and have never completed this quest. I still have to connect the pieces of the cube and create an amulet, but I don't want to reset my progress in the game, so I will probably never use the amulet. Generally, I think this quest is amazing, maybe not very sublime and not surrounded by a thick plot, but it is the number of understatements that make it so intriguing. The ending is controversial, on the one hand very realistic, but on the other hand, I haven't come across anything similar in MMO survival pseudo-RPG games. This is proof that once, a long time ago, Funcom could do great things.

Thanks Piotr! It's definitely more ambient and not necessarily steeped in obvious lore, unlike most traditional quests, but it is rather enjoyable to follow. I think it'd be good if there was a sort of special mount in which you can place the Keystone, for which you can only get the recipe from completing the main quest and crafting the keystone. Something to show for completion, but also no need to actually delete your character

Good guide, I used to do this as a nomad/scavenger (never using the construction hammer) back when the game was playable. @13:09 I used to bypass the north temple in the well with the seprant-men by jumping around the cliffs of its south side.

One hilarious thing to me is I have about 6500 hours into this game since ... 2017? I think thats right anyway lol. Never have I ever "beaten the game" lol. Ive played a ton of AoC/EEWA combo servers, with that other mod where you pay like keystones for tools and stuff so ive gotten each piece thousands of times. These days though, theres literally no reason to not bee-line straight for the pve/p castle and getting a musashi's blade to start off. Theres nothing that approaches it damage and utility wise for quite a very long time.

I've finally mastered the Lost Dungeon set and would be more than happy to show you how to use them properly (no square footprint). It's now my favourite set and all I use. Would be great to see what you design when you know about this. Let me know if you're interested?

I never use set antidotes for queen reaper boss for sandstone piece, guess I play it backwards lmao Skeleton Dragon boss, you just need someone, either you or Thrall with Warhammer or mace to sunder him to help cheese it faster.

For people who might not know the key from the witch queen is for razzmas house in South part of sepper city. And you can speak with her there. Also relic hunter armor recipe is on the roof

I've done the dungeon's but I have never taken my bracelet off. IMO it's extremely weird for a live service game to have a firm ending like that. I've never heard of another live service that deletes your character and makes you start over.
@piotrgruszka912811 күн бұрын
I confirm. This idea has as many supporters as opponents, but no other game of this type has ever used it, which in a sense makes Conan Exiles unique.
@AzmanPlays11 күн бұрын
Agreed! It would be great to Implement some kind ancestral perks that only unlock once you have removed the bracelet. You would still restart your character but with a new twist
@Eradicati0nn11 күн бұрын
Agreed, weird but unique. It's a rather graceful way to get rid of your character if you wanted to move to a different server though, so I suppose it has its positives

@@Eradicati0nn I don't want to become known as the guy that keeps bringing up Siptah, but it could have been cool if they tied Siptah into the vanilla's main quest by requiring an EL player to remove their bracelet before they could server hop to the dlc. Naturally, if someone just wanted to play on Siptah starting from scratch, they could; it wouldn't be a bar for entry fto the dlc. It would just be an added bonus for EL players. ALso, from a story perspective, it would be very episodic and hilarious for an Exile to finally escape their braceleted prison only to shipwreck on a cursed island.

I'd read about it a few times on the Conan wiki but hadn't experienced it myself. When I fought him in my Homeless PvE challenge run though, I could definitely feel it, it's a really gradual increase though. The wiki says he also used to have explosive and teleporation attacks that were cut in Early Access (if memory serves)

I wonder two things one will all the building pieces you place in the world disappear and two the secret ending is you the stone to Conan and he frees everyone or something like that

I never found the Quest guide to be useful or helpful. It was just confusing and flavor narrative.
@Eradicati0nn6 күн бұрын
I think that's sort of the intent, you kinda have to pay attention to what the staff says to get the actual instruction. It makes sense for the type of story Conan tells and how they try to tell it, but it's definitely more confusing for someone that just wants to know what to do next
@randallporter14046 күн бұрын
@@Eradicati0nn When I first did this quest as a noob knowing nothing, this didn't help me no matter how many times I listened to it. It seems the staff dialogue was written for someone who already knew where to go.
