Thank you. Dimash sings in Kazakh at 1st and then switches to Mandarin. Dimash visited a fan (Dear) in the hospital and invited her to his concert. She passed away from cancer before that could happen. This song is dedicated to her. It is so tender and beautiful. Love your analysis and your attention to detail.

For those who remember, Renat Gaissin, who composed this song, is the author of the song "Qairam Elim" (2020) whose video was directed by Dimash himself and was the winning song for an audience choice on the American MTV in 2020 (Renat Gaissin appears in the video playing the piano). He also made together with Dimash the instrumental song "River Of Love", where Dimash plays dombra, a Kazakh folk instrument, and the song “Omir Oter”.

Apparently Dimash has 3 university music degrees in classic & contemporary music and is doing or has completed his PhD in musicology. He turned down a place in the Kazakhstan National Opera company apparently because he loves contemporary music also & wants to blend it into pop while alao doing a little classical music & singing but mostly bringing abit of operatic into contemporary pop music. I love yer playful way of discussion & comedic moments..with a beautiful voice & a cute look.

My first time ever that I hear this song and could not appreciate it because with all due respect, you stopped it every few seconds. If you had to leave it running for at least 30 seconds to a minute at a time before any analysis or comment, it will be a bit better for all your listeners. Maybe you should try that next time. I will definite check out more of your reactions. As a vocalist and coach you are doing just fine with your analysis. I would really like to see your channel grow.

It's a beautiful song and luckily it's on Dimash's own KZbin channel with subtitles in many languages. I also turned off after a couple of minutes because she kept singing over the top of it.

@@debbiemorgan859 Thanks, Debbie. I am aware that copyright is the main reason why reactors do this kind of thing. However, the best option is to run through the complete song and do the analysis and comments afterwards. I am sure that you must have come across reactors who actually do the latter. I will give her, Erika, a chance and see if things will improve... Let's hope.

@@gregoryjamessnayer7271There are reactors that do this. But they are either very small and can’t get their videos monetized anyways, or their channel gets shut down and all videos blocked. Sometimes years later. So they really shouldn’t do this. Personally I also don’t want to stare at them while they just play the song. I‘d rather watch the whole song on the original channel and have the comments faster from the reactor. But on one thing I agree. There is such a thing as too much pausing and I don’t like it when reactors sing with Dimash. And I‘d prefer to hear a little more of the song before the commentary as well, just to be able to think about what is being said. 😅 But well if that’s their style it‘s their right to do so. And some people like that. 🤷‍♀️
