I'm so amazed on how a good pet owner you are! You seem like the nicest girl on the planet and I almost wish I was your pet lol haha! I was not into guinea pigs before I found your channel because I have always thought they're so boring to watch but you have shown that they're not (I've only watched them in tiny habitats so I guess that's the reason why they've been "boring" to watch. I have 12 guinea pigs. My eldest guinea SHIRO is pregnant now and I'm expecting more babies. I am so happy. I love taking care of them and they happily ignore me for that. My dog is very fond of them.

That's helpful to know the camera and editing program. it's not a "dedicated" movie camera but it's a high-end Panasonic digital camera that certainly does the job. I'm surprised to see guinea pigs apparently content--some playful, others calm and cuddly--without any food except for their chewing hay. My guy is forever clamoring to be fed fresh veggies. When his wheeking/whistling sounds are added to the loud meows of my cats it's a rancorous chorus.

Jessica La Roche Thanks! I now have 2 healthy female guinea pigs and there names are Cocoa and Caramel! They are sisters and they never fight! I did get them from a breeder (that's what my mom said since I got them on my birthday) and my mom said there were ALOT of guinea pigs there and she said all she heard was squeaking!!

I think having a new guinea pig and one that you are trying to bond is a really good method. I did that with Midori and Pyper after they had started a bad fight. They were getting along good before that and having them both on my lap seemed to settle them down. I got to the pigs before they hurt each other. The fight started because Pyper was bouncing off the walls and has no sense of personal space and Midori likes her space. Both Pyper and Midori get along great now even though Midori can be really bossy.

Someone please help me! My 2 boars have been getting along fine until just today where Rocky will not stop 'mounting' Fudge! He'll start, stop, Fudge will run away and the entire process starts all over again in a repetitive circle. What do I do? They have been together since they were 6 weeks old, to now 7 months and 3 weeks! Fudge is now kicking Rocky off as we speak, teeth chattering (which has never been directed at each other) and lunging at Rocky every time he does it. I try warding him off but they just won't stop! They are still doing it!

In my opinion, it is best to let them sort things out between themselves. Trying to intervene by separating them often leads to them having less chance of getting along. Blood was actually drawn from Multy but after this happened she accepted that she couldn't be boss anymore x

I HAVE AN EMERGENCY!!!!!! Ok so I have this guinea pig that is usually really scared of being picked up and gets really nervous when people pet him but yesterday I was finally able to pick him up and I was petting him and I noticed that I could feel his bones really well and he also did not feel like he had weight on him I called the emergency vet but they are not experts on guinea pigs. So I am waiting until tomorrow to get him to the vet. Is there any thing that I can do in the mean time to help him?

oh no! Piggy Drama is intense. I hope things settle down quickly. I feel like Bromley has been on top of the heirarchy for so long and now he isnt sure of what to do. It was upsetting to hear that multy was bitten :( Did you guys consider keeping multy and oreo only with the other pigs during the day and sperating them over night? Just so that they gradully get used to each other? Keep us updated. On the other note, I am really happy that you took in those piggys. I know everything will work out.
