Erwan and his team truly immerse themselves in the places they explore. They go beyond simply visiting public markets, buying food, or asking locals about the best dishes in the area. Instead, they take it further by stepping into homes and experiencing the culture firsthand. Erwan’s adventurous spirit shines through, as he’s not a picky eater at all. I’ve always loved The Fat Kid Inside videos, but I love them even more now! Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work!

I love watching your culinary adventures, and also promoting local cuisines and wonders of the islands. I do worry that viewers might think its OK to collect all kinds of frogs to eat, but some are now threatened with extinction including those Limnonectes macrocephalus that was served to you, protected under RA9147, so I hope you would add a cautionary note to preserve both culture and biodiversity. Yes even the Bayuko or Helical snails (Ryssota) is now becoming rare. Sustainable use is needed.
