To anyone confused on what happened: The main character got into a car accident that killed his wife. His daughter was alive, but the father blamed himself for his wife’s death and was depressed that she was dead. Not wanting his daughter to feel that pain, he tried to summon something out of a book, hoping it would erase his problems. However, he accidentally summoned a demon, and it killed his daughter. He was locked away in a mental institution and is haunted by the entity, making him hallucinate different fantasies about his daughter, one example of those hallucinations being what happened during the gameplay. He is trying to move on and hopes to recover. This is all what I gathered with all of the info and the diary at the end, so take this with a grain of salt, might not be 100% accurate. Just a theory. Hope this helps!

Daz for context about the head thingy, some mental tend to bite others or workers, it is connected normally to a straight jacket or whatever they indeed- its not normally used but if a patient tends to do physical harm with their head to others or to themselves, also used if patients try to cut their own tongue hope this helps

I suffer with mental illness and mental health problems and have been hospitalized 3 times. A good chunk of the time, you’re seen as an inconvenience and sorta like a problem instead of someone who needs help and is struggling. I felt like a nuisance and like I was taking up peoples time to a point where I had cried to a nurse at the third hospital because I felt guilty since they were treating me well and I felt like I was wasting their time. Mentally ill people are still people. Treating like they don’t have feelings, like they’re something to lock away, like they’re an annoyance, or like a burden will not help them get better, much less want to. I wish a lot more people realized that.

I've seen horrors about staying at hospitals. My one experience wasn't a horror story (I was there for like 5 days, not enough time to truly experience it) but it still sucked. I don't understand how it's hard to just know that people are people. Yeah some of us have problems, but that doesn't make them less human :/. Like unless someone's done something horrible (like murder for example), we should just...Treat people well? ESPECIALLY when you're in charge of helping someone, it's seriously insane how many doctors just don't have empathy.

They do it for the money and when you’re doing a job where you’re basically supposed to be helping save people’s sanity or help them want to get better, you can’t just toy with that like it’s a cleaning job. You can come back the next day and clean up again if you missed something, you can’t un-fuck-up someone’s health and mind.

I would have panic attacks almost every day in the first hospital I was at and I would be hyperventilating and gasping for air and the doctors either wouldn’t notice until one of the patients told them or the nurses would come over and just stand there and ask me what’s up even though I couldn’t breathe. And also just wanted to add, your experience isn’t less valid even if you didn’t spend as much time in the hospital as other people. It’s still a horrifying experience and can definitely fuck someone up. I really hope you’re doing better, mental health facilities are always a very bleak and terrifying place.
