Yeah I know. I already had Sudamala planned for Sunday, but then the new news came out about Duyung. Duyung news had to be published immediately as it’s useless if it’s even a week late… but then do I just postpone Sudamala? I considered it, but I thought I’d just keep my schedule going. My aim is to publish every Sunday and I’ve more or less stuck to that for the past year… a couple of missed. Hopefully I can continue into the future!

You will love it. Pens went I spa 2 mins up road, Saigon across road. Then dimattina, bare bottle and jungle tree for coffee.

Try little Mars a bit further up on Jalan Cemara, it's a fantastic little Warung! We stay around that area a lot & it is always a great feed!

Love Andaz, but totally different vibe to Sudamala. Love both of them. The deck at La Playa is as it was when it collapsed onto the beach. Aside from salvaging a couple of bits and pieces and an unsightly tarp, it’s still a collapsed mess on the beachfront. It’s not good.

@ - Yes. I have had a walk through and was impressed - a bit like an oasis. We stay at the Natah Bale, just along Cemara. Traditional balinese design and open grounds and gardens. They have a reasonably new restaurant that opened last year called The Jungle Tree. To be honest it added a bit of “people traffic” to our wonderful hideaway. Perhaps when we go over mid July this year, we could shout you and your wife a lunch at Jungle Tree,and you can have a look at our villa? The gardens and peaceful surroundings are just what we like.
