agree 100% on impen. there was a brief time were i was ok with running alot of well fitted but with the lag tankiness and burst other players have i went back to imoen reibforced. as lomng as you have a gap closer its greats. was running this build maces and literally switching between stamplar and magplar.but for the pas two days have been running war maidens with a fire staff. might give that duel wield dagger a shot.

Impen is amazing people that tell you not to run impen are typically players that want you to stay squishy lol :P Daggers are personal preference, and my go to because I prefer as much consistency as possible because crits is what hits, if you crit your combo pugs get melted and sweats get heavily pressured and maybe even bursted

@@melissahofmann8908 a few patches ago i found well fitted was working really well, but impen is more important than ever now. it was only for a patch or 3 tho. i think some people havent evolved tho. 28k health with a bunch of well fitted and they wonder why they are always the first to get deleted by the enemy. lol.

I found using resto bb kinda good to I find myself not really blocking as much as you would think plus more magic sustain with a single heavy attack is to good to pass up

Oh trust me I love my Resto and always want to use it whenever possible! But an Ice Staff does let us to run Ele Sus and leaves our front bar weapon to whatever weapons we want

Love the video! I’ve wanted to do a type of Templar pvp toon for a while. Question, why not use the lightning staff because of the extra 12% damage with direct and channeled abilities? Just curious about your preference.

Because 2W actually does more damage than Lightning because 2W inherently has more w/s damage by 500 when the main hand is Nirn and then you get to choose an off hand trait and then access to 2 enchants with their own unique status effects, and that’s even before you choose your weapon types I’ve tested them in depth and unfortunately Lightning still isn’t better because Staves are meant for range

Played the same build since weeks. But: switch deadly to Acuity. So much more Damage. Jabs are a wet noodle without Crits.

Dark Elf is a very good race, I’d say put a Drain Magicka poison on your back bar for some sustain, if that’s not enough I’d highly recommend a 3rd Bloodthirsty with reduce mag cost enchant

Templar is my baby. My OG day one char is a templar and I've always loved using it but over the years it became nerfed and a hitting like a limp noodle. I appreciate the build, may have to switch her up and give it a whirl.

Do you have your food buff and potion buff active? Breton does get 130 extra mag recov so you can account for that

I run a similar build but get better results running clockwork citrus fillet. Only have 1 stam skill and dont find I need the extra stam recov. I am running more well-fitted though

This build most definitely works in BG’s, you may want to run the Atro if you’re having more sustain issues

Hi there! Wanted to applaud, that it is not another master-weapon build. What is your usual ping, when you play? My jabs and sweeps sometimes don't hit players, when they move around. This is the same issue, that arcanist's beam has. Not registrating hits. My ping is about 100+ usually. And skilled players just run around and through me, mitigating all the damage from a spammable. Don't really know, how to counter that, exept for changing spammable to crushing shock and getting rid of deadly for order's wrath.

Imperial could work if you don’t want to race change, I would recommend all 3 jewelry to be Bloodthirsty with Reduce Mag Cost if you’re having sustain issues and then go 60 points into Mag and 4 points into health

You get it from doing the Psijic Line quest in Summerset so you need the Summerset DLC or ESO plus and get to Lv5 of the Psijic Line

Build is ok. Rallying Cry is not great. It's better to have big sustain and dodge-roll/block/heal your way through 1vx. The crit res and small amount of spell power does not work better than big sustain. This will kill potatoes and its always fun to do that, but any build can kill potatoes. Want to kill good players? Build a burst combo. You're looking at something like Mechanical Accuity or Crit dmg and that would be Order's Wrath. But without a big sustain pool, you're going to be forced to use heavy armor. Glass cannon is fun but getting one shot gets really old after awhile in a zerg. And if you're in Cyro for 1v1, you should really just queue for BGs instead. But hey, 1v1s are super fun every now and then. Don't be a glass cannon. Be a glass cannon with BIG SUSTAIN. And if anyone is seriously going to play BUILD-A-plar, go with crit rate/crit damg/spell power. That's where Plar's are strongest.

At the end of the day it’s all personal preference, if you prefer resource spam on a Mag build go ahead that’s why I went sustain on the jewelry and race in “my” build I mean it’s ESO in 2024 you’re never 1vX’n a good player unless you run a pure 1v1 Cheese build But if that just can’t set in your mind Mechanical Acuity proc with an easy to see visual to just to play defensive for 5 seconds and take minimal crit damage from RC, that’s legitimately the definition of a Pug Slayer/Zergling set
