there is absolutely no way maxpax is going to be missing from the biggest prizepool SC2 tournament ever ! I know most of the controversies surrounding him, but at this point for me it is certain that maxpax is hiding something big and very dark (and i'm not talking about any zerg players). As probably the best european Protosse, he can potentially win more than he has in all his sc2 career so far. So there's no excuse for doing therapy to fix his social anxiety or whatever else excuses are online for him not being present. The SC2 community has gotten so used to maxpax being an online player only, it ignores this massive huge red flag.
@Uksidorgje5 ай бұрын
I do not get how you can t respect his decision in that regard. It is on him to decide if he wants to participate or not, we have no vote in that matter and thats good! I would love to see him compete too, but to be honest, if it is your first ever LAN Tournament and you play on such a stage, it might be too overwhelming. Playing some smaller stages would surely be better to start with. In addition to that, the money on the line might not be important to him.
@Infernal075 ай бұрын
@@Uksidorgje this is not a decision to take, he's not a ladder silver player to want to stay private, he is practically the best Protoss in Europe. And that implies, on one hand that he's winning online money that maybe other pros would win if he were not this good. He is also a very important figure in this community, if his skill at SC2 is true, he has a moral duty to himself and his fans, to display it offline and on stage. There is a lot of pro players with crippling depression or social anxiety that still participate, with help therapy or other means. I feel like his case is so unique that there's a simple explanation of what is happening, that he winning by unfair advantages that he cannot legally bring to the offline environment. My mind can only be changed by a trust-worthy public figure from the SC2 community, be it a caster or another pro player, telling me that Maxpax truly has a privately kept condition that does not allow him to participate in offline events, even without disclosing what that is.
@Uksidorgje5 ай бұрын
@@Infernal07 Arguing that a person you don t know has the moral duty to display his skill to you by playing a specific tournament is ridiculous. I live in a country where you can choose what you do and where you attend and I think you are glad that it s the same for you. MaxPax can choose if he wants to do it or not. Also, others playing with conditions doesn t mean he has to do it, too. Conditions can vary. You wouldn t want to be judged and pushed like that by other people. Please try to show some empathy with that man. But there is one more thing I didn t get: If you knew for a fact that he is as skilled as it seems (from a trustworthy source), then you would let him have his peace and not complain about him not attending this tournament?
@Infernal075 ай бұрын
@@Uksidorgje He has won over 100k dollars in online tournaments. That alone is more than enough reason to prove he's a legit fair-player. And yes, if a trustworthy person from the SC2 community were to tell me "yeah dude, maxpax has a private reason to not attend offline events, even if im not gonna disclose it to you out of respect for maxpax", I would believe that person and permanently drop all the allegations about maxpax. But I havent heard any pro player or caster say that, so I'm sticking to the simplest explanation, that he's hiding an unfair advantage that he cannot bring to any tournament stage.

Hi ZG, firstly thanks for making these type of videos, I love them as well. Just one thing I did not agree with and almost always been an issue with SC2 competitive scene is that Zerg has been way too OP. Specially the early to Mid-game for Zerg remains broken. This is where very majority of the games are decided and even if the game goes to late game, Top tier zergs are able to squeeze out such major advantage that it becomes nearly impossible for the other races to compete. I hope they really adjust the early game for other races specially vs zerg to make the scene more balanced.
@ZombieGrub5 ай бұрын
The problem is that there's basically 4 Zergs that good. Serral, Reynor, Dark, kinda Shin. Lambo and elazer get "regular" results and are overrun by Protosd actually. So if you nerf Zerg, mayyybbbe you nerf Serral...but then you make the least played race in the top of the game even more difficult. Zerg is not OP. Serral is.
