Been using those for a year; I have trouble with the card velcro sticking much more strongly than the adhesive on the base, so when you pull the card sometimes you pull the sticky base half off. So buy extra sticker bases. I'm wondering if I don't need to use a much stronger after-market adhesive on the install. Thoughts anyone?

Have you had any problems with the velcro peeling off? I hve some of those esstac cards and they keep peeling the velcro off my 590a1

I have. Mine won’t stay on. I degreased, tried heat, no heat…it always peels off.

Sounds like we all have the same problem. Heat (from firing) degrades the adhesive. Cleaning agents degrade the adhesive.

Great idea but the Velcro strip peels off the shotgun after every cleaning. Seems cleaning solvent or oil weeps through the pin holes and starts to make the adhesive unstick.

You should upgrade your stock with MAGPUL’s SGA Stock.

Solid product, still stiff. Speed bumps and running don't move these. Sling transitions will scoot shells sometimes though.

I just received my order of (4) Esstac cards. I must say Im disappointed for two reasons. 1. The order does NOT include the backing necessary for the carrier. 2. The biggest issue is the elastic is too small to allow 12GA shells. Note: Mine appear to be much smaller/tighter than shown in this video. 3. The website ads NO help to the issues above. I've sent an e-mail and will ad to this comment when I have an answer, which I hope will be soon. I have a shoot coming up in two weeks.

+Jay Harvey Damn. Yeah mine did not come with backing either but I went to the hardware store and retrofitted that to the desired shape. The only company I know that provides backing with their carriers is VangComp. Yeah the loops were tighter than a ducks ass but there's like a 25% expansion after a week of leaving the shells in there. Maybe these got popular so quality may have gone down I dont know. Look forward to your reply on what the company says.

Make some by cutting a 60 shell bandolier. 15 bucks each is ridiculous. Just cut a bandolier and burn the ends so they don't fray, sew on some 550 paracord and you're rocking.

Thanks Dog! I appreciate it! thanks for sharing too. Its an excellent piece of steel. So, for lights, you have to mount it. There are 30mm clamps with fastener screws that mount to the barrel or mag tube around $15-25. If you get a modular style fore end like the magpul one I have in my other video (I think Maako has a tri rail one) its a lot easier to mount picatiny rails. I'm considering a haley strategic WML light to put on the magpul piece because it will naturally sit at a tilt with my thumb behind it. I will do a video on affordable but good tactical lights soon too. If ya have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Check out the STREAM LIGHT + SUREFIRE SHOTGUN Fore end lights. 1000 or so Lumens and REPLACES THE CORN COB FORE END. I have a Stream LIGHT T L TRACKER on my Shockwave and it comes with the Safety strap as well. I ( just me, not promoting) like it better Because of the design, it's easier to pump and the Light is very bright.
