I'm proud of this Minister, very intelligent answers.
@memodavid80742 жыл бұрын
It is not intelligent answers .all what he says is unlogic. How he makes comparison between Egyptian dam and Ethiopian dam . Egyptian dam is in estuary which will not affect Ethiopia any way but Ethiopian dam will affect Egypt and Sudan by blocking too much water to reach Egypt and Sudan and threaten them at anytime .God is fair he will start with u about the evil and greedy that Ethiopia wants. Second the Ethiopian diplomat said that Egypt and Sudan have many see water to desalinization but Ethiopia doesn’t have see water to salinize . I couldn’t imagine how an Ethiopian diplomat say something unitellegence like that .by logic which is better to have a river to drink or to salinize sea water to drink. Also Ethiopia has 9 rivers and many lakes she has 950 billion square feet of water and beside that she wants to block 75 billion square feet of water from Egypt and Sudan that have only the Nile river. In order to generate maximum amount of electricity u don’t need more than 9 billion square feet of water. At the same time Ethiopia has 11 dams and till now she doesn’t know how to generate electricity from them that means that Ethiopia doesn’t know how to manage its resources. All what Ethiopian minister said is unlogic and unintelligent and unrealistic. He doesn’t know how to speak.also before u try to threaten Egypt and Sudan try to save the 7000 Ethiopian soldiers that were captured by the Tigray army

@shady9991003 жыл бұрын
@@LifeTheGlobeTrotter without reaching to a binding agreement , what you are saying is naïve. have a look on real life! what Turkish and Iranian dams did to Iraq although in the case of Egypt it will be even worse. Moreover how can Egypt trust Ethiopia while their political leaders and Ethiopians deal with the Nile as a property that can be possessed refusing to confess Egypt and Sudan water share right even negotiating! Ethiopia have the fully right in development and generate electricity but it have no right to threaten it's neighbors existentially!
@LifeTheGlobeTrotter3 жыл бұрын
Ethiopia is willing to negotiate. Sudan I don't even think understand what they are talking after watching the press conference. They are spending every bodies time. By the way Sudden also donated more than 50 cars and money for the dam. Egypt I don't know what are they afraid the dam will not stop the water. Ethiopia is ready for agreement long time ago. If you just listen what the Engineer say you will get your answer. Ethiopia is contributing the vast majority of the water that gives the country to develop with her own water in her own land with her own people and money. Ethiopia is not building nuclear station is just simple hydro power dam. African should stop tearing each other down when simply can Africa grow together. It is just nonsense. Ethiopia is not the first country building a dam with a river that cross border.

Egypt without Nile don't exist. 85% of the Nile water comes from Ethiopia. So Egypt has been destabilising Ethiopia with Europeans help throughout history. Now at last the dam self financed by Ethiopians is a reality. What do Europe (West) and America do. Blatantly or behind the scene siding with Egypt. Now Africa knows what poverty allevation means. Its hidden meaning is poverty perpetuation to keep Africa dependent on Western aid. Europe and America prove this wrong. Or the migration of African economy to the east will be accelerated.

U have over 900 billion cubic meters of rain can be used for good cause to help people develop and live better without stealing the 60 billion cubic meters leaving the Ethiopian territories. The electricity the dam is supposed to generate is not sufficient to light any thing close to 65 million people living in darkness!
