Torque Specifications, ft-lb:
- front torsion spring arm nut - 65-88;
- front torsion spring arm bolts - 33-44;
- torsion anchor arm bolt - 22-30;
- flywheel bolts - 61-69;
- clutch cover: 1st 7-14. 2nd 16-22;
- starter motor - 30-38;
- tighten bolt securing transmission: Gusset to engine 20 mm - 22-29, bolts 65 mm - 29-36, 58 mm - 29-36, 25 mm - 22-29 ft-lb;
- drain plug - 18-25.

I just did the clutch on my frontier and I'm now having problems with it staying in gear (pops out of 1st, 3rd, and 5th) any idea why this might be? I replaced the clutch, pilot bearing, pressure plate, and put in new 75w-90 GL-4 oil in the trans. Thanks so much for the video btw really helped a lot.

Thanks for the videos. It has turned into a bit of a nightmare getting the transmission reinstalled. Up until this point everthing has gone smooth. I can't seem to get the transmission flush against the engine and fully seated. No matter how much wiggling I still have about an inch gap all around. I have tired a few different things over the past couple weeks including getting rid of the makeshift jack I was using and bought a transmission jack, seperated the transfer case to be able to make it easier to line up, moved the xterra from my driveway that was on a slight incline to my garage that is level and flat, leveled out the xterra, and even had a few buddies help for an afternoon. From the best I can tell it is lined up and parallel. If anyone has any pointers or suggestions it is appreciated?

Hey man, very useful videos; Nice work and thank you. My question is, in what position do the two lines leading from the center of the trans, to the top of the bell housing on the passenger side of center need to be fastened?

At 34:30, you're hand is next to the lines I'm asking about.. What are those lines and where's their home?

I see, those lines are gear box vent lines. Just mount them to any upper bell housing bolt.
