I am returning my C20 today, got it because of this review, but in the real world setting for my house, it kept getting "lost" constantly, and would bang into the side of my couch spin, bang into the couch again, spin, bang into the couch again, etc... Pushed one of my dog's water dish / food dish combo (ten inches tall, 10 inches wide, 14 inches long, and pushed up against a wall) for about three feet until I picked it up off the floor. Without obstacle avoidance, I haven't been able to just let it clean at night like I want it to. Will try the X10 and hope that maybe it will recognize when there is an object that is ten inches tall in its way, and be able to navigate a 30 inch opening to another room without it stopping because it was "blocked" or having to save it because it couldn't back track it's way out of a room and got "lost"... what it did do, it did really well, but I did not spend that much money to just have to save it all day....

So sorry to hear it didn’t work well for you! The lack of obstacle avoidance could definitely be annoying if you have a lot of stuff it needs to avoid. I hope the X10 works much better for you!

I admit I went with the C20 mostly because I thought the station looked sleeker, I didn’t even realize the vacuum is slimmer, now I’m super glad I chose it instead of the X10. I really need it to go under the same furniture my 30C did. It’s running now, this is only its third run, but I’m happy with it so far.
@EverythingHome1003 ай бұрын
The slimness was huge for me too. I have several big heavy pieces of furniture the x10 couldn’t have gotten under!
@larshcdk2 ай бұрын
@@EverythingHome100 Being able to fit under lower furniture seems like a great feature - but based solely on watching videos online, it does seem to slam rather hard and often into obstacles, or am I misjudging the footage? My current roborock does occasionally do this, but rarely. If the c20 does this, maybe that the price to pay for not having top mounted LIDAR.

You don't need to see the water levels on theX10 station, the app can show you how full the clean tank is, and the dirty one has a sensor that triggers when it's full.
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
Good to know! I do really like being able to see at a glance whether it needs to be emptied or filled though without having to open the app.
@user-im2te2fg9y2 ай бұрын
@@EverythingHome100 I just top mine up every few days and don't worry about it. but for the x10 to get the water indicator It's in the eufy labs section of the app. t's a dumb sensor that assumes the tank has been filled if you opened it. so I guess it measures how much water it takes out of the tank in order to determine how full it is.

How often does the dust bag needs to be replaced? And where can we buy it from
@EverythingHome1003 ай бұрын
Every couple months. You can get them on amazon.
@user-im2te2fg9y2 ай бұрын
I've had mine a few months and the bags not even half full yet, I've got no pets though. Even the finest particles of dust get picked up by the robot. I had a G30 before I got the X10 and with that my miele manual hoover would still pick up powdery dust out of the carpets that the G30 missed. The X10 is powerful enough that it gets everything and going around again with the Miele picks nothing up

Just a dad channel had comparison video and it looks like the C20 mops better than X10. Have you tested both out when it comes to mopping and vacuuming?
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
I haven’t tested the x10 firsthand, but from my research I got the same impression. The x10 seems to be a slightly superior vacuum, better at mopping corners, and better at navigating, but the c20 is better at mopping and thoroughly cleaning mopped surfaces.

How user friendly is the app? Can you setup no go zones?
@EverythingHome1003 ай бұрын
With the C20 you can easily send it to certain rooms or areas, but you can’t block off an area within the room. The x10 has better no go zone functionality.

@@EverythingHome100 The C20 also allows you to set no-go zones in each room individually.

On the C20, does it store water in the unit to constantly keep the mop heads wet or is it only wetting the mop heads once it leaves the base and once they dry they aren't really mopping anymore?
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
I don’t believe it does, but it does return to the station every 10 minutes to wash the mops and from what I’ve observed the mop heads stay wet enough throughout those 10 minutes to effectively clean. I do like that it actually washes the mops vs many robot vacuum/mops that just continuously add water from the internal reservoir to the dirty mop.

How does the c20 compare to the robotics q7 Max+
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
The biggest difference is that the q7 station only empties the vacuum. All the mopping water is within the robot. So you have to fuss with it a little more. You also don’t get the automatic mop washing every 10 minutes that the station provides for the C20. It just requires more hands on time. The C20 also has significantly higher suction power-7000pa vs the q7s 4300pa. But the q7 has lidar navigation while the C20 uses a nav system that isn’t quite as good but still gets the job done.
@markward42843 ай бұрын
What type of navigation does the C20 use? It doesn't have the lidar dome on the top so how is the navigation without lidar?
@EverythingHome1003 ай бұрын
This is a great question! I looked it up and it says it uses laser navigation. I’m not sure exactly how it works, but it seems to navigate very well, and quite efficiently in nice straight rows without bouncing over the same spots over and over again.

My favourite budget choice is probably the C20 robot vacuum, as the look, budget for an all-in-1 is looking like a great deal, but I have my doubts concerning the vacuuming of long pet hair and the navigation! Could you help me with this? Situation I have mainly hard wood floors and some tiles with a few small rugs. I have a dog with long hair that shreds allot, also she half blind, but never makes an accident. Needs For me the vacuuming is number 1 (for picking up long pet hair), second navigation (I don't want the robot bumping into my dog), third is the mopping (least important, but preferred, if possible). Question Which vacuum robot is better in vacuuming and in the navigation, which suited to my needs, do you think? The X10 Pro, C20 or X8 Pro? What do you recommend for me, based on your experience?
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
I totally get this! Our little dog actually sheds a lot but is short haired. The C20 seems to do great for her hair and my long human hair (and 3 of my kids!). But, the x10 has the highest suction, so if vacuuming is the most important to you I’d go with that. Plus it has lidar navigation, which should keep it from running over accidents (and with an old dog that may be an issue in the future!) It’s on a really good sale for the Cyber Monday, so it’s not terribly more expensive than the C20 or X8.

With the c20 does it dry the mop heads enough with just normal air rather than heated air?
@EverythingHome1003 ай бұрын
It does. And you can adjust the settings on the dry function so if they don’t get totally dry on the lowest time (2 hrs, I think) you can increase it up to 6 hours. Mine seem to get dry after about 4.

Do you know to get omni c20 to get mop all floors ? Its failing to mop as of now when it finds out the floor doesn't has base station
@EverythingHome1002 ай бұрын
Do you have it set to “mop” in the settings? And are you saying it doesn’t have a base station for some reason? I don’t think it would mop without the base station since it needs to be able to refill and wash the mops every 10 minutes. If I’ve misunderstood the question please clarify, I’ll try to help!

@@EverythingHome100 how omni c20 can mop the floors on different level without moving base station every time to each floor? Say i have setup base station on ground floor, and if i want to vacuum amd mop first floor, how c20 will do that ? As of now if i pick only robovacuum and put on first floor but it detects that on first floor, there is no base station, it just vacuums. No mopping at all.
@EverythingHome100Ай бұрын
Yes. I see. Sorry, I misunderstood! I move the base station when I need to mop and not just vacuum. It has to have the station because it is the source of water. I hardly ever do it because 90% of our upstairs is carpet, so I am usually fine with just vacuuming. But if you have hard floors on multiple levels I can totally see how that would be a pain! Let me see if I can find a hack somewhere to let you mop without the station.
