Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, 50% of the width of the car is striking an oncoming deformable barrier, also travelling at 50 km/h
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid full width barrier
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole
- a far-side impact test, the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated by two dummies in the front.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled as well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders), lane support and speed assistance technologies.
Additional tests and checks have been done to ensure that the rating also applies to the Coupé variant.

I wonder why they only taste it at 50-60kmh instead of trying with more. I want to know what happens to the car and how safe it is at at least 80kmh. Because most of the fatal ones are over 80kmh, not at 50.

Most fatal accidents happen at at least 80kph for a reason. Maybe sometime in the requirements will go up, remember, first fatal accident with a car was with speeds of 20kph.

True but in MAJORITY of crashes people will brake hard therefore reducing speed down to in around that although some crashes are at that speed because a driver/drivers are distracted.

Like in vw id video & other battery car tests, this side crash pole test, there is clearly visible, that due to strong battery case, car is turning around its central axle & I am sure, it will turn roof to pole/tree with higher speeds & kill all passengers in car.

32km/h site pole test is a joke, should be incrised at least to 55km/h! Wall test should be another dummy added to passenger seat, oversized taller and heavier to check if belts and bags will work!
