News Note 1 Andre Claveau became the First Man to Win the Eurovision Song Contest. This was the 3rd Contest and Lys Assia became the First Woman to Win the EVSC and also finish 2nd. So Far No Woman has ever Won the Eurovision Song Contest 2 Times.

I feel bad for Luxembourg. I personally think Italy and Switzerland are my top two, I really want to say Sweden (biased towards Scandinavia in general), but Italy and Switzerland were really good. I didn't really like France's all that much.
