Amy Lee’s voice is so angelic. My mom introduced me to evanescence and I don’t regret it one bit.

I love watching people just get lost in rock and metal songs. The power behind these songs and the messages are so damn deep. I always felt this particular song is more than just about breakups. This felt like expectations of people and how they can do you dirty. Sometimes you get so lost in pleasing other people that you forget to breathe and know yourself. A good follow up from this is Everybody's Fool by the same band. If you liked this, I recommend getting deeper into the metal, rock, or goth rock genre. The messages are just killer.

This is my favourite song by Evanescence, so much emotion and power in Amy's vocals it's an absolute banger! 🔥

Lit reaction homie. Amy Lee is gorgeous and has the voice of a angel, I don't think she's human but she is definitely a alien. The gods took there time when they created her.

Great reaction, all her demons coming to life in the toxic relationship she is in , so the goth/ demon/zombie theme of the video...next "Everybody's Fool"
@jonurbanovsky54384 жыл бұрын
I always saw this video as representing the demons that come with fame, almost literally drowning in it, and finding nastiness in even those closest to you. That's what I love about art; we can all get different, legitimate things from it.

Amy had been in an abusive relationship and had gotten out of it. Thank God. If you listen to the lyrics here like, "blurring and stirring the truth and the lies...so I can't trust myself anymore" and "confusing the thoughts in my head" you can tell that she's speaking about mental and emotional abuse. As for the strange faces on the crowd, the people doing her makeup and on Ben, all I can say is that when you are in a situation where you've been abused and gotten free it takes a long time to be able to stop seeing people as potential monsters. Also, when a person is famous, as she is, sometimes you don't know if the people are around you because they like/love you or because of who you represent to them. I can see where she might have a skewed view of people around her because she doesn't know what they want from her or if they really love her.

Amy Lee's, okay, Evanescence's actual breakup album is "The Open Door" after she broke up with Shaun Morgan because of his drinking, the lead singer from Seether, another amazing band. I actually have a friend who hung out with Shaun. Shaun regretted everything. I LOVE Seether, but when you get inspired, you get inspired. Check out Broken both the acoustic and the duet. Both are phenomenal.

I remember the first time I heard Evanescence. They won a battle of the bands, that The Edge (a radio station in Little Rock) used to run late night, with an early version of their song "Haunted". Loved her voice ever since.

If you hit 1000 likes, you have to do their newest song Use My Voice... video coming out tomorrow 😁. Nice reaction, keep em coming. 🤘❤️
