I know, right? Those birds are TERRIFYING if you get too close to them, especially if they have goslings. I (vaguely) remember a time when I was little and my sister and I were feeding the local geese, and a mama goose started hissing at us, then after a while, it chased us away! Thankfully, my mom stepped in and caused it to back away, otherwise I might not be here today. Never underestimate the goose!

You know, I just realized the whole immigration theme could have some really fun references to past games, small areas in various towns and cities inhabited by immigrants from past regions who bring up their games gimmicks - Sinnoh natives who mention the new Pokétch struggling because of Amazeall, Unovans who enjoyed triple and rotation battles and are dismayed that they aren't done in other regions, Kalos and Alola natives commiserating about Megas and Z-moves being largely seen as 'cheating' by trainers unfamiliar with them, Galar trainers missing the national enjoyment of the Gym Challenge and the spectacle of Dynamax... All leading to the post game story, where the efforts of the player, Professors, and other allies helps get Kaskades Battle Tower/Frontier/House/Random building established - a large deposit of key stones and mega stones is found in Kalos and Z - crystals have been popping up in Alola (Implied to be the result of the events of X/Y and Necrozma coming back to Alola, respectively), and a gigantic wishing piece created by the Second Darkest Day is placed under the building, creating a power spot to allow Dynamax bands to be used, And Triple and Rotation battles can be found throughout the region. Hell, have the facility be in the same building as the league, and upon rematch each league member will use one of the gimmicks, with the title defence matches using whichever one suits the characters with some characters actually starting to stack gimmicks after they've been beaten a couple times - your main rival could maybe start out just using a Dynamax, then a Z move, then the Dynamax switches to Gigantamax, then finally adds a mega, with triple and rotation battles being something the player can decide to implement before each title defence, choosing between all four battle types. ... I just put way to much thought into game mechanics for a game that's never going to exist, but oh well.

Coonsoom should have a signature move that steals the opponents held item and burns it and then, if it’s not organic (e.g. steel whirligig, metronome, etc), it could set up the poison type weather effect.

Geyser should be a normal move not a signature one. It would be limited and given to a few pokemon. Gimmicks Geyser can hit (opponents who used dig / are dug) If used by a pokemon that also knows a fire type move ,scald or is a fire type ,this move can sometimes inflict a burn.

To keep in line with Dhelmise's ability being called "Steelworker", maybe Vendrom's ability could be called "Geologist" to keep that theme of abilities consistent? Alternatively you could call it "Volcanic Power" or "Volcanic Body" as Hydrothermal Vents are made from volcanic rock themselves and often crop up everywhere on the surface of underwater volcanoes!

How about a damaging and hazard move You first throw the bones. This is overall weak ,doing 30 damage. After ,it sets up a unique hazard called Bone Ritual Bone Ritual makes it so the next pokemon that is switched into by the oppoment has been Cursed Bone Ritual Isn't stackable with other Bone Rituals The target always lives on 1hp ,like false swipe. They have to wait one more turn to die
