I was renuent about this movie because it concerned me the egyptian representation. But, actually the idea of immortal mummies doesn't sound that bad in context. Still, I wonder if they show a bit of modern Egypt, because, the country is more than their ancient History and mummies and pyramids. I like that they make reference to the italian opera of Aida, for the looks of it, at least it seems that Radames is mentioned. That's cool.

I feel like those movies are mostly forcing a telationship out of the main Characters just because. I think Mr. Peabody and Sherman would have also been great without a romance

I agree Sherman and Penny had enough of an arc becoming friends after hating each other. the scene where Mr. Peabody starts slyly suggesting Sherman has a crush on her comes completely out of nowhere. Penny publicly humiliated Sherman and then he attacked her nothing about that should trigger romantic feelings. The only reason they went to Egypt is because they were arguing and then she immediately ditches him to date the pharaoh.

This was the best movie i saw for a while. But all the time i had to think about how they died and became mummies. I agree that Nefer should stay in London and sing and that the "i love you" part didn't fit in that scene, but that's how the movies' formula works.
