This game will be a test of character. We have enough quality in depth to take the game to Everton, ideally we need to start strong and nab an early goal to silence the crowd and then dominate possession. I’d love Darwin to do something big in this game, I’m slowly thinking he’ll be out the door next summer if his performances don’t pick up, I hope I’m wrong as there is a quality striker in there (somewhere)! It’s also got VVD header against Pickford written all over it, he’s due a goal 😉

I had an uneasy feeling before Newcastle and I feel it even more now, that said I hate derbies as if you live here it's all consuming! My worry is injuries and red cards. I don't like early kick offs anyway although at least the players won't have far to travel. Last season I think the injuries caught up with us and some players had to play too often, that is the danger here a bit. Joe should continue at CB and I'd risk Trent again. Klopp played Jones at RB last season and he was excellent so that's another option. My worry is Gravenberch, he looked knackered against Newcastle. I do wonder whether we made a big mistake loaning out Doak and Stefan B, we need to give the players a rest especially in the cups.

@martinkerrmusic Chiesa was always a gamble and even with those two we are still a bit short. Klopp used to play the youth players in all the domestic cups and they were good enough to win us trophies.

Only reds channel I can stomach these days (apart from Andy Cantwell of course)...im man enough to forgive and forget the recent wonder stuff era, loz never shies away from any negative aspects of a performance but has (almost) perfected a way of keeping hyperbole and divvy emotion out of it unlike nearly every other reds channel, yes it's a little bit guardiany, a little bit metropolitan and a little bit David Brent on occasion but we are who we are and I very rarely disagree with loz's opinion and his genuine love of the club gives him a unique way of looking at Liverpool that his stats obsessed peers in the wider, 'serious analysis', yt football community could never even contemplate...such a great channel the fellas built and a great preview of a massive game...come on the pool

Newcastle have Isak and Gordon, two players too good for that club, while Everton have no quality in attack, Liverpool will have an easier time, even if it is a derby.

In my honest opinion with zero malice intended, I think your topics are a bit all over the place; if you can focus on one point at a time, that will make all the difference. For instance-you were talking about Everton’s midfield and tactics then quickly switched to Liverpool’s lineup starting with Kelleher in goal then talk a little bit about the midfield. All of a sudden, you moved on to talk about something completely different; to be honest it’s hard to follow the logic. I AM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE JUST READ SCRIPTS TO US BUT just so it’s a little easier for the viewers to follow.
