👋 After 6 months owning the 2023 manual tranmission Toyota Supra, here are all of the modifications and cost of mods I've done to the Supra! The new MK5 Toyota Supra is a blast of a sportscar and truly is one of the best sportscar for the money, and paired to the 6 speed manual tranmission, this Supra will go down as a legend! The modifications to the Supra have really made this car come alive and I've turned it into my vision. The new Supra craves the mods and it really becomes even more fun to drive wafter adding some aftermarket parts! We've been really enjoying running our own website where viewers can order the same parts we feature on the channel. Supra has been one of my favorite cars to own and the mods make it even better! AWE exhaust with MST catted downpipe give the B58 Supra the perfect tone, and the carbon armaspeed intake really opens up the turbo! H&R springs dial in the handling and I love the Kies carbon fiber parts all around! The Armaspeed rock guards have also done a great job keeping the lower side of the car in perfect shape free of any ships and the AWE wind foilers allow me to enjoy window down cruising! Build looks great so far. Have you considered swapping/deleting the CDV at all? It seems to be a regular complaint amongst BMW manual transmissions and from what I've heard the Supra has the same issue. Curious to hear your thoughts - ty!

I've heard people talk about that. I've seen mixed reviews tho for the Supras. So I probably wont. I've got more used to the 1st to 2nd gear change and can do it pretty quick now

Awesome video as always brother love your content. I have a question as a potential buyer. Since you’ve owned the gtr and you might have a video but is the ownership and maintenance really that terrible. I wouldn’t do much outside of intake exhaust and downpipes with a very mild tune. I love the Supra in manual and that would be my other option.

I had the GTR for 5.5 years. It was nothing out of the ordinary to maintain. I did all the work myself and it was cheap and easy. Never had a problem with the car either. For about $50 you can do an oil change with filter. I did that every year. Every 35k miles you need a $400 transmission/differential flush. I had that done at a shop once. And then I did a power steering flush which was like $10. Also I put on PosiQuiet brake pads which cost $110. And then one set of tires at $1700. Literally nothing crazy to maintain. Keep doing great and being successful. I’ll let you know what I decide. The Supra esp with manual is great with the b58. I had a 2018 BMW 340 m sport 6spd manual xdrive with full bolt ons and pure stage 2 turbo and it was sick. Time for me to get back in a coupe now that I have a proper DD.

You should really do some more performance upgrades. Upgrade turbo, tune, etc

I'm working on that. But tuning will be over $3k since the ECU needs to get shipped to Europe to get unlocked. And honestly since this is a manual, the car just doesnt feel like it needs more power. You cant use all the power like in an auto. It's just so balanced the way it is I'm not craving more power out of the car. So I'll wait till it makes more sense to dive into tuning

@@jleffel09 that’s about it for stock turbo from what I’ve seen. Local shop did a manual Supra like that and made 484 whp and 586 wtq. Bigger turbo will get you into the 600 whp range

@@BrosFOURRSpeed Fair enough, you are more of an expert on this than I am. Bigger turbo/turbo upgrade would also be some cool content and an area I don't remember seeing from you guys yet. But bigger turbo could = more turbo lag. Maybe swap to a twin impeller turbo to reduce turbo lag and still make a ton of power?

@@jleffel09 I think the pure 800 is the same turbo housing. They just rebuild the inside. So it’s actually not any more lag. So when the time comes. That’d be a good setup

I didn’t like it at all on mine so I turned it off asap. To each his own. I’m thinking about going with that same exhaust. Can you do a video of the difference with active sound turned off so we can get a good idea of what just the exhaust sounds like from the inside?

@@sdra6730 With the exhaust you really can’t tell a difference. I messed with it and it’s not really enough to notice. You hear the exhaust itself over any speaker sounds.
