First saw this show like 12-13 years ago in 2008 as a dumb stupid idiot 5 year old. I would watch pretty much every new episode when they premiered up until 2012 or 2013. I even saw the movie on premiere night back in August 2011 and had it recorded on my DVR for years until 2015 when we replaced it. Now being 18, I can truly say that this is one of the greatest shows of all time. In an era of bad to mediocre cartoons, this was one that stood out as great to watch at any age. It’s aged so well. It's similar to a pick sound, but more like a mix between that, piano, and like banjo. It's a weird sound, but not a bad one. I think the craziest thing about all these amazing songs is that each song only took an hour to write and compose. I’m not lying. In the bonus features for the Phineas and Ferb movie there was a video of creators talking and showing their creative process when it came to writing and composing a Phineas and Ferb song. They were even timed and the end result was one hour. And they did this for every single song. It’s insane and amazing.

Of the songs that I actually heard, here are my favorites: One Good Scare - Not only does Phineas hold Isabella's hand the entire time, but we get a cool song. Also, I like Buford amd Baljeet's "costumes" Shot in the Butt with a Dart - Albeit short, it's still pretty funny. It's Candace (Who's That Girl?) - I like the fact its in a style of a (70's?) opening, where the girl is so perfect and everyone likes her. No Momo - A bit darker than most P&F songs I've heard, but it's fine. Baliwood/Destroyed Dreams - Albeit somwhat short, again, it's a good song. Nice to see we get some looks at Baljeet's history. Ain't Got Rhythm - I like the fact that they are in a library and singing this. There is No Candy in Me - Though it's short, it's pretty funny. You could tell it's shoved in, but it's the good kind. There's a Platypus Controlling Me - This one's a freaking bop. Waggle Dance - Feels like a Schoolhuse Rock song, but modernized. Spa Day - I like how it breakd out into rap in the middle. Mom (It's Your Birthday) - Albeit generic...actually, no it's not. Where else do your brothers pull guitars out of nowhere to help you sing? Busted! - I like the whole "we're going to get you" vibe of the song. It's been done well. Ferb Latin - Feels like a Schoolhouse Rock song, but about a language that doesn't really exist. Cool. Perry the Platypus Theme - Kinda reminds me of Mission Impossible and James Bond. The theme song (of course) Here are some others that I heard and thought were just alright: Gitchee Gitchee Goo - The song is good, but not enough to be one of my favorites. J-Pop (Welcome to Tokyo) - I love all the purposely poor translations. Feels like it was poorly dubbed. All the Convoluted Reasons We Pretend to Be Divorced - The only 2nd Dimension song I truly like. Whatcha Doin'?: Kinda average in my opinion, didn't know a catchphrase can be made into a song. Not So Bad a Dad: Actually made me feel for Vanessa. Pic-a-Nic Bust: Loved this a lot when I was younger. Still do. In the City of Love: I hate Isabella can't get a break here. Hole in my Heart: A pretty sweet song. Squirrels in My Pants: Much too weird of a concept, but the beat is nice. Backyard Beach: Love the whole Jamaican vibe going on.
