All primal plants are OP (except perfume shroom) The primal peashooter has an amazing knockback ability which helps a lot if you go to Jurassic early game to unlock it. Same can be done with primal wall nut. The primal sunflower and potato mine are a lot more late game but they help out a TON.

I have 3 thing worth saying (just in case you don't know them) 1. The Perfume Shroom's cool down can be countered by plants food (not sure if that save it enough to be rank higher) 2. The Primal Peashooter's knockback will remove Stuonion and Chili Bean's stunning effect 3 (An off-topic one, btw). I forgot to mention in Neo Mixtapes Tour that you can use the Garlic as a way to make the battlefield smaller by putting them in the top and bottom row so that you lure the zombies between those rows and use Cherry Bomb, Coconuts Cannon, Citrus, Primal Peashooter, or any expensive/splashes damage/explosives plants and put sun producing/cheap offense plants behind Garlic (not sure if that save Garlic enough to be rank higher)

I think it’s time I actually do my ranking even though I’m late. 5 Perfume Shroom: [Insert obvious joke about world exclusive plants being ranked last.] 4 Primal Peashooter: I know this thing is REALLY good, but I tend to use the other Primal Plants more for certain situations. Not a bad a plant to be honest. 3 Primal Sunflower: People say this is the strongest sun producer as you can get more Primal Sunflowers in the early game rather then Twin Sunflowers. You guys do realize the Sun Shroom exists right? Jokes aside it’s a fantastic sun producer. 2 Primal Wall Nut: Are you tired of your Wall Nuts dying and taking 5 years to recharge? Then this solves your problems. This is legit the best Wall Nut in the game if your not counting the Premium Nuts or any Premium Defense plants. 1 Primal Potato Mine: This plant is stupid Op. It only costs 50 sun, has the radius of a Cherry Bomb (Which if you upgrade it you get a larger area then the Cherry Bomb) and only takes 3 seconds to arm. I will laugh now at the Cherry Bomb mains when I show them this thing, which is almost everybody. Anyways that was my list of the Jurassic Marsh Plants, now let me go find Big Wave Beach now and lose every time I play level 28.

You can also take advantage of the stun from daizy chain, who's stun allows the PPM to grow to full and explode before the zombies come out of the stun. It's super fun.

I love using the Primal Peashooter, while it doesn’t do well with most lobbed plants and removes Chili Bean and Stunion, it actually gains more synergy with AoE plants, helping them devastate single heavy targets, 1 Primal peashooter can held off a regular gargantuars, 2 makes them irrelevant

This was when I still played back in 2017ish so I don't know if it still works, but even Gargantuars can get blown away, and I found it hilarious

You knew my list was coming #5: Perfume Shroom (A must use in her home world, but can’t be used anywhere else) #4: Primal Peashooter (His knockback and damage is great, but in his home world, the Bullies make him somewhat less useable) #3: Primal Wall Nut (For the same reasons you mentioned, but I just don’t use him as much) #2: Primal Sunflower (My favorite sun plant, they’re practically a full Sun Shroom for only 50 more sun!) #1: Primal Potato Mine (Despite how he can be attacked in the ground, I absolutely adore his range, attack capabilities, and faster arming time! Here's my list: 1) Primal peashooter: An enhanced version of his original counterpart, he's pretty solid and he can push the zombies with every strike. The plant food effect is still worth using it, it might come in handy in late game with ambushes. If he manages to push a zombies to the water in pirate seas, they will die. Watch out for that zombie similar to troglobite (I forgot his name) since he's immune to pushes. 2) Primal sunflower: Why wouldn't a pvz player need a sun producer as usual ? She may seem fragile at first but she's way better than her original counterpart because of 75 sun per production. 3) Primal potato mine: An enhanced version of his original counterpart because of fast recharge, plant food effect and 3x3 ranged explosion, really awesome to eliminate various zombies at once. 4) Primal wall-nut: Another version of his original counterpart but with faster recharge and one-time resistance to gargantuar's attack. At least, the plant food effect is worth it. 5) Perfume-shroom: She might be good in her native world since she can charm the dinosaurs. If used correctly, the dinosaurs should no longer bother you but rather become on your side and defeat zombies. Unfortunately, she's overwhelmed by slow recharge and she can't be used anywhere else although the dinosaurs show up in modern day. In my opinion, jurassic marsh has the best plants of all worlds.

Here's how I would rank them all 5: Perfume Shroom: yea this was obvious 4: Primal Sunflower: Honestly I just use Sun-Shroom way more than this 3: Primal Peashooter: An amazing plant but it does have a bit of a recharge plus 175 sun so I would put it slightly higher than Primal Sunflower 2: Primal Wall-Nut: Easily the best defense plant in the game only being slightly rivaled by Infinut and Chard Guard 1: Primal Potato Mine: Out of all the Non-Limited/Premium plants in the game....this just be the best explosive plant in the game.....it takes Potato Mine and gives it Cherry Bombs radius PLUS a MUCH faster setup PLUS only 50 SUN.

This should be used over Potato Mine because Primal Potato Mine is good in start, mid and end game.

Time for Jurassic Marsh's Ranking 5. Perfume-shroom - The only Jurassic Marsh plant that doesn't have primal in their plant or have positives that overcome the negatives. Too slow to recharge and doesn't have area wide charm. 4. Primal Peashooter- The only reason its the lowest out of everything is the Jurassic bully. Chard Guard and Hurrikale were better knockbacks to the bully. Slow firing rate but that's it. Good plant. 3. Primal Wall-nut - Strongest out of all the nuts. Can take 3 hits from a gargantuar instead of 1. Fast recharge and only 25 sun higher than wall-nut. 2. Primal Sunflower- One of the best sun-producing plants behind Sun-shroom. Good for once again, expensive plant strategies like Winter-melon, Coconut Cannon and Banana Launcher. 1. Primal Potato Mine- The best plant in the game. Has 4 seconds of arming time and explodes like a Cherry Bomb Damaging gargs in a breeze. The Best of The Best. P.S: This is my own opinion, don't take it too seriously.

This is the rank harder to put up the plants in order because primal family is useful not only that world but in every world S: Primal Peashooter (That is so OP peashooter I ever seen in my whole life) A: Primal Sunflower (She is fast to produce sun than a normal sunflower B: Primal Wall-Nut (Fast recharge as the simple wall-nut is slow he stand 3 gargantuars hit) C: Primal Potato Mine (More damage than a simple potato mine and an okay recharge also to arm itself D: Perfume-Shroom (Plant exclusive that she can't be played in dinosaurs levels in modern day as well she is lower recharge)

My tier list: 1. Primal Potato mine: the best adventure mode explosive plant and competitive plant, its recharge may be sluggish but its arming time is a descendent from heaven and its explosive area is amazing, and even one single level up, it can still be a big threat to many zombies. Even Gargantuars 2. Primal Peashooter: It was hard for me to choose between primal Wall nut and Primal Peashooter, but he got second for many reasons, not only it can stun zombies each shoot, it can also push them back for a long distance, a great spam able plant if you know how to produce sun, and it really is a god once it is paired with blover, I have a strategy that even powerful unbalanced zombies can’t get through, bring two gold blooms (another with the imitater, place a infi-nut on the middle of any row, place four adjacent cold snapdragons next to the infi-nut, use at least one plant food on the infi-nut so that you have time to spam blover, and just spam as many primal pea shooters as you want, it is a great strategy to use, and it really helps on endless levels once you get primal peashooter. It has so many uses that even it is a god on Penny’s pursuit considering that you don’t even need blover when EA and PopCap gave you a power up that pushes zombies every few seconds, primal peashooter is a beast if you know how to use him. It’s only counter is Jurassic bully but, let’s be honest, unless you are playing endless Jurassic, how rarely are you gonna see that guy. 3. Primal Wall nut: Yes he has a fast charging rate, yes he is the best nut, yes he can stall gargantuars considering that he needs to be taken down with 3 stomps, I just don’t see any cons on this thing, it is an amazing defense plant, it is an unbreakable shield, and it has a great plant food giving primal nut even more health giving it extra health against zombies, this plant is a legend, the reason on why I put him on number 3 instead of 2 is because Primal peashooter just has even more potential and can stall way longer than Primal Wall nut can, and even primal peashooter can stall zombies and dealing damage at the same time. But Primal wall nut is a great plant for you if you want to stall defensively as much as you want. 4. Primal Sunflower: in my opinion, the best sun producing plant below shine vine, it costs 75 which might be controversial, but it is basically a fully regrown sun Shroom that gives you so much sun early in the game, and even without gold bloom, you will be packing on sun in no time, better than sunflower because primal sunflower gives you more sun, better than twin sunflower because it’s recharge rate isn’t as slow as a slug, better than sun Shroom because it doesn’t take ages to grow and become actually good, this sunflower has it all, a great recharge time, a great sun reproduction and it destroys levels because it can be used at any point in time. 5. Perfume Shroom: Literally the worst plant on this world, you can’t bring it to other worlds, its only use is to immobilize dinosaurs and it’s recharge is very slow

The Primal Potato Mine actually hits in a 4x4 Area. I know it says 3x3 but if you actually look, Primal Potato Mine can hit almost a full column. I suggest using this over the Cherry Bomb now if you can wait 3 seconds for it to arm up and explode. Primal potato mine also costs 100 less sun and has a faster recharge so yeah stick to this over the Cherry Bomb now. So Cherry Bomb mains, watch out because us Primal Potato Mine mains are coming to ruin your day now.

Scratch my old words, primal pea is a really solid plant for this world and works really well with Spud Mines/ their Primal Form as you can plant them behind and have them pushed into it. Primal Flower I think is the best sun producer as shroom takes a while to be good and twin isn't self sustainable ( it produces less than it costs ), and you eventually get enough to start of planting this immediately. And Primal Spud Mine and Wallnut are some of the best in the game. They're very OP

Noooo I'm late anyways here are my rankings 5th: Primal Potato Mine (OOF don't kill me): does very high damage but needs to arm itself, don't plant it near zombies or it's just a waste of a placement, I rather use instant kill plants instead of plants that arm themselves (expect escape root) 4th: Primal Peashooter: what if you combined a spring bean and a peashooter? A PRIMAL PEASHOOTER! Get it? Anyways, the plant can be good to push zombie back against like spikeweeds or something, but there are 3 problems, 1: lobbing plants and that plant are a terrible combo 2: Jurassic bullies overwhelm the plant, especially in it's own world 3: the plant food is more trash than normal peashooter's plant food ability This plant is a bit worse than it's normal counterpart because of the plant food ability 3rd: Perfume Shroom: only higher than both primal potato mine and primal peashooter because it can make dinosaurs kill the zombies, but only used on it's own world and recharge makes it lower 2nd: Primal Wall-Nut: I rather use him than his normal counterpart for recharge, but only 2nd because I find pea nut better than him 1st: Primal Sunflower: better than twin sunflower because it's cheaper and faster recharging, may give 25 less sun but still, Oh no... next list will be based on my least favourite world...

The primal walnut is easily one of the most broken plants in the game. The major and ONLY balancing factor of the walnuts are they're sluggish recharge time. With the primal version its stupid easy to setup a defense and the fact you can easily stalls gargantuars forever make it broken beyond belief.

my list 5.Perfume shroom: this plant is sort of good but then you realise that you can only use it in it's home world and some stages in modern day if any, but i will give it some points because it can hypnotise those pain in the butt pterodactyl zombies 4.primal wallnut: as much as i like the wallnut plants i think this is one of the odder ones because in arena it can't even take 10 bites from normal zombies but in the normal mode it takes about a several 10 dozen more bites but in both modes it takes 3 gargantuar smashes to take down 3.primal sunflower: when ever you get this, throw away your sunshrooms because this plant is basically the biggest stage of the sunshroom for the whole time! and that includes when it's planted 2.primal potato mine: this is basically a cherrybomb that only detonates when a zombie is close to it after said cherrybomb is armed 1.primal peashooter: it's just a peashooter that can push stuff back and just like peashooter it is the only plant in it's home world that can actually shoot

Here is another list. 7. Perfume-Shroom: A great weapon for Jurassic Marsh, it charms dinosaurs and turns it against the zombies. It reloads very slowly and can only be used in one world. 6. Primal Peashooter: It has a chance to knock back zombies, making it able to deal some serious damage if you're lucky. It does face competition with the other peashooters as I feel like repeater deals more brute force damage. Also, the Jurassic Bullies and Jurassic Rockpunchers are immune to its knockback. 5. Primal Sunflower: Directly outclassing the standard Sunflower, Primal Sunflower produces the same amount you are paying for. It does face competition with Sun shroom and even moonflower but it is pretty good. 4. Cold Snapdragon: The top 4 in this list are top tier plants. I had a hard time deciding how to order them because they are just so good. The Cold snapdragon is a snapdragon that does less damage but chills zombies. It can be used in tandem with other heavy hitters. It cannot be used in tandem with fire plants obviously. This is a top tier plant but the top 3 are just too powerful. 3. Primal Wall Nut: Wall nut's downsides is that it reloads slowly. Primal Wall-nut does not have this problem. It costs 25 more but that is a trade off one is willing to take for a quick arming wall and takes multiple hits from gargantuars and other instant-kills. 2. Grapeshot: Had to be one of them. The steroid Cherry Bomb deals some serious damage. 1. Primal Potato Mine: This plant is just busted. At level 1, it deals 2400 dps of damage while grapeshot and cherry bomb's main explosion deals only 1800 dps of damage. It arms very quickly and has a seed reload time that is faster than cherry bomb and grapeshot. You couldn't just plant smack in the middle of a zombie horde but with some careful timing, it is incredible. Primal Potato Mine's explosion radius goes up when it levels up which cherry bomb can't do but PPM cannot hit aerial zombies unlike cherry bomb and grapeshot. This one downside is massively outweighed by its many upsides.

Cold Snapdragon deals the exact same damage as Snapdragon. Read the almanac. Plus, I would prefer Cold Snapdragon over a Snapdragon that deals twice the damage because the area chilling effect is just op.

I hate those dinosaurs, but my God, these plants are absolutely awesome. After thinking a lot, I think my rating is equal to GNVS. 1. Primal Potato mine: Gosh, it is the perfect explosive of the game. Its cost, recharge and range are too OP. 2. Primal Wall-nut: Gosh, again, they weren't right when they made this plant. It's simply the perfect defense. 3. Primal Sunflower: I love this sunflower. The only bad thing is that it takes a long time to unlock. 4. Primal Peashooter: I also like this peashooter, maybe my favorite one. Kernel-pult never was an option. 5. Perfume-shroom: The only counter to these crap dinosaurs, unfortunely has a slow recharge compared to the huge dino hordes.

fun fact, if you use the blover at the moment when a primal peashooter knocks back a zombie, the zombie gets blown away. Not really particularly useful, since the time frame for planting a blover to take advantage of this is almost nonexistent, but I suppose you could either use a plant food to guarantee knockback, or spam blovers with multiple primal peashooters in a lane and hope for the best.

I find that the chard guard or the reinforce-mint is a very good pair with the blover. It's very easy to time chard guard's fling with blower(plant blover a bit before chard guard does the fling) allowing you to essentially remove any zombie. For reinforce-mint you just plant it, time it with blover and boom. All the zombies are just gone.

Primal Potato is stupid great with Winter Melon and stun plants, because you can plant it way closer to zombies without fear of it being eaten early. I got my hands on Apple Mortar and holy shit, Endless is a joke when the three come together. The recharge is slow but god damn can it do work.
