In all honesty, super saiyan 3 isn't the most useless form. It was still a better form than the super saiyan grade 3 form that Future Trunks used. I also don't think that GT was a bad show. Super Saiyan 4 is my all-time favorite saiyan transformation.

Personally I think Grade 2/3 and Blue are necessary forms for DB. Idk about everyone else but I like forms to have Flaws. Grade 2/3 showed the difference in experience between Trunks and Goku and Vegeta. SSB is arguably the most explored form in DB

They're both the same at their core, bad shows with bad writing but great (and often poorly executed) concepts and while they have some of the best sagas in the franchise, it's not enough to compensate

He never said Super was a good show in this video. Even so, GT is a bad show. It fumbled 2 of it's 4 arcs in such a way that they could be be removed and not much about the story would change (crazy for a 64 episode series), the Baby arc was great and the Shadow dragon arc was so poorly executed as a whole they wasted one of the best ideas DB has ever had. The Super anime is also trash but the manga is decent. it's 100% better than GT overall.

They're sequels (well super is an interquel) that tried to refurbish DragonBalls' glory to more generations. I'd say Super is at worst decent or mediocre whilst GT Is consistently bad to mediocre.
