@bryan_vlogs88234 жыл бұрын
I know. The Austin Dillon wreck looked worse than this wreck. When Newman's wreck came to rest, I've thought he was ok. They just needed to turn around the car and he will get out like talladega 2009. But they had to cut him out of the car and take him to the hospital. But I think that the two crashes are very scary.
@m.c.martin4 жыл бұрын
BryanVlogs Dillon wasn’t hit on the driver side door like Newman. Sure Dillon lost both the back and front end of his car, but being hit in the driver side door, upside down, at 150-180 mph can instantly kill someone had it not been for the cages on the car. Newman’s was worse for a Person, Dillon’s was worse for the Car.

Weird how Ryan’s crash is likely the last shared memory anyone has of normal life prior to the madness we’ve seen since Mar ‘20. To this day I can’t see this crash without getting maybe the most deepest rooted feeling of nausea I’ve ever experienced. Newman has always been one of my favorite NASCAR drivers since he started in the #12 Alltel car for Roger Penske. The instant I saw his inverted car hit, catching Ryan just behind the driver’s side B-post, or basically right behind Ryan’s left ear - I thought I had watched him be killed. If I had been standing I’d have likely gone to my knees. Seeing this it feels like yesterday. Thanks for putting in the effort, and time, to edit this together! I don’t think I will ever forget that crash, or how it seems like everybody’s last “normal memory”. But it’s great to have it all compiled here like this. Pretty awesome that Ryan noticed it too, and that it helped him put together what had happened. Thanks again! Brilliant job on this! 👍🏼

As soon as the hit, all fans go from "YA!" hands up, to "OMG" hands on head. They knew it was serious....

All I can say as long time nascar fan is that that night felt like the late afternoon early evening of 2/18/2001 glad he was ok and ready race again still one of not the worst crashes ive seen in my almost 30 years of watching NASCAR

Why is there a drone flowing Ryan Newman's car at 7:56 ?
@Lycan_Jedi4 жыл бұрын
NASCAR implemented a drone mounted camera this season to get unique shots.

the first hit everyone was yelling and cheering cause you know it was entertaining. The second hit was the complete opposite everyone who could see it clearly went quiet and scared, I cant imagine how impact-full on everyone brains this would be watching it on live tv, let alone on the track. Its an absolute miracle that Newman survived, and one of the wonders that still lingers in our heads

You know NASCAR really needs to have a helmet can on the Starter! He probably had the best view of it!

I still hate the fact that Denny Hamlin pit crew is celebrating while a life or death is right in front of them
@mrgig12178 ай бұрын
Yep, I hope every single pit crew member is not on any team in nascar currently, you can argue that Hamlin didn’t know when he was celebrating, but that fact that you have a front row seat and see a crash right before your eyes that should have been fatal and decide to celebrate, hell man that pisses me off.

The only difference in this one from austin dillon's wreck is that denny's team was celebrating even after they saw this happen right infront if them

* Avethe33Beast * nigga shit the fuck up, micheal wall trip celebrated his win in 2001, this won is a big deal and these driver trust the safety equipment so much, from Denny’s perspective that’s just a normal crash it happens all the time

Gosh I remember watching this live, it was about 9:00 pm est when I got home, (since I was watching at my grandparents house) and I couldn’t go to bed, I was petrified that I watched somebody perish my mother was on Twitter finding news and when they pronounced Ryan had serious but not life threatening injuries I sighed a i was so happy.
