@Austin Quillen honestly lol I believe NASCAR is gonna be on a slow but steady upswing in popularity after this year, the 2010s were a shitshow but actual improvements have been coming in the sport this year, plus 2021 and the generation 7 car is just around the corner 😉 It'll be some interesting times then

@@bobbarker3248 the left lane is the overtake lane....the right lane is the travel lane. Happens all the time...two people going to the same speed in both lanes causing a huge rolling freight train of traffic which can cause wrecks and all kinds of other problems. Drivers license manual 101...

@@Ih8liarsandusers But it is illegal to travel at a speed faster than the speed limit. You can overtake all you want, but you can't break the speed limit. If everyone is travelling below the speed limit there shouldn't be any problems.

@@NathanM4A1 No, you can't obstruct / block traffic regardless of speed limit in the left lane. Actually more dangerous to do so as well. Drive with the flow of traffic in your lane. If you only feel comfortable or safe doing speed limit, that's fine, but choose the right most lane that allows you to do so.

Another blind person. Gragson came up into Chastain, which cause Chastain to correct his car by turning left. Chastain wasn’t trying to dumb Gragson, rather he was keeping his car off the wall. If he hadn’t turned hard left, Gragson would’ve put him in the wall. That’s how cars work.

The scariest part of these crashes is coming back onto the race track/racing line. You don’t know what’s gonna happen to you and you don’t know who’s gonna hit you. Must be one scary feeling

I might be biased because I’m a Byron fan but Kurt Busch was slow on the restart and Byron had to go by him to not get hit from behind, so he went three wide in the middle. Then Busch didn’t give him quite enough room and caused him to come down. Byron could have gone a foot higher but I don’t think that would change much. Idk tho

Absolutely! I've done just 3 to 4 10-minute 60mph Go Kart races in a row and those can be exhausting. I can only imagine 200mph for 3-5 hours. G-forces and the heat involved is unreal.

Whats the point of checking up if the guys behind you don’t and drive right thru while u get spun and wrecked. Nascar has to do something for the spotters on the big tracks where they cant see. Otherwise drivers are just gonna plow thru like we saw at daytona this year. Why is it so hard for them to have cameras on all the cars covering all angles so spotters can actually do their jobs? I think they only have x amount because A.) They're expensive, all the cameras in and on the car are ones that the networks asks the teams if they can put in, and the team has to find sponsership for the camera. B.) Is that there isn't enough wavelength space within the track to have every car be totally covered with cameras. It's kinda like when you have a Bluetooth speaker on between you and your wifi router and your wifi drops, the cameras would be interfering with each other and the radios and nothing would be reliable

It's pretty bad when you can see all those empty seats in the stands going 180mph. I miss the days when racing was still racing. There will never be any more drivers like Earnhardt Petty Wallace. Now all you have is a bunch of rich kids that have very little experience as a driver. I can say that simply because of their age. Most couldn't build a race engine or a race car if they wanted too. Nascar is not what it used to be.

@@Bzorlan No. Take a look at 1:16, the camera is small enough should the driver happen to hit the steering wheel with the helmet (shouldn't because of HANS) it would simply break off and detach. Would not change the dynamics of the impact.

@@Leuel48Fan the smaller the camera the bigger the problem. A direct impact means all of the force is focused into one point so the smaller that point is the more force is put on one point of the helmet.
