I got an external hard drive for a film class 6 years ago that I've been wanting to use now to store other things on, but zero online tutorials I found for 4 days were able to fix it...I couldn't even get the "new simple volume" text to show up. As of 8/8/2023 on Windows 10 (and with a different external hard drive by the same company), this tutorial still works. I wish I could like this video a billion times, man saved me at least 50 bucks with this.

Great video. I also did this on a G-raid with 2 x 4TB disks. The problem is I only see a single 8TB drive and I would like to set it up as raid 1. Do you know how I can manage this so that I see the two disks and assign raid 1.

I like this video, the guy's style and all. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Maybe because I have an old G-Tech 1 TB (driver is @ 2006). This did help me to find it through my PC, but even after supposedly formatting it, to write over some old work done on a classmate's Mac in Final Cut Pro, I can't access the drive. At least I know how to see it now.
