Everything is looking great brotha.one thing I will say tho on your epa open it up a little bit more.your carb should open until u can see the fly inside the carb any more.but like u said don’t set it to far that your servo is stressing. Also when u put on the brakes the carb should not move when u release the brake a couple more little adjustments and your going to be ready to rip can’t wait to see it fly

Rocky Rodriguez Really huh? You're smoking brushless truggies all day? Sounds like you're racing against Traxxas ttuggies... Too bad you're not in my neck of the woods. I doubt you'd keep up with my ET48.3. I have 12 hp on tap and instant torque. I run nitro as well, and I love it. But I also know what the limitations are.

If I was a nitro guy this would be my first choice! Maybe someday. Nice video 👍, very informative.
@EVERYDAYRC6 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. I’m glad you found the video informative and if you were ever to go nitro this would be the way to go. This engine will rev almost 35,000 RPMs. If I get it modified I can get possibly 44,000 RPMs which is comparable to a brushless system running on 6S lipo batteries. The Innovation is in the racing kits. Make it happen bro

Yes I did say that! I know it was a long video but did you watch the whole thing? I talked about that at the 22:00 mark. AWSOME bro I understand the purchase of that motor and don’t blame you one bit as I raced nitro touring almost 20 yrs ago it’s nice to hear the names I remember novarossi was my wish list motor as I always ran is max motors with ofna heads now that I’ve gotten back in the hobbie I just can’t get away from brushless and it’s not that I don’t like nitro because I really do but I think as time for me has moved on to easier maintainer that is an AWSOME build and I know if I had gotten back into nitro I’d be blowin ya up askin all kinds of questions 😀 Thanks bro for makin such great and informative vids ✌️✌️👊

That’s awesome bro I love on road nitro! I love all aspects of a hobby and I have a huge collection. I completely understand where you’re coming from as far as moving to brushless. I started with nitro been moved to brushless and now I wanted a good taste of a high-quality nitro and that’s why I decided to build this! One of these days You should give it a thought and possibly get yourself a high-quality nitro racing kit to tool around with! Thanks for watching I’m glad you found it informative

EVERYDAY RC you were one of the very first people I started watchin when I got back in the hobbie around October 2017 and from you and others like you I have certainly feel right back in the hobbie rocbud43 is always speaking very highly of you and I am so glad to have met great people like you I actually have a Nitro RS4 3 I just got from a guy that needed some cash it’s in very new condition and on the fence about weather to convert or get it running it’s lacking the engine but other than that it’s rtr with a few upgrades i have it on the back burner right now as I’m learning the hard way I can’t work on them all at the same time and have a hard time staying focused on just one 😀 if I did do nitro I’d probably have to bug ya about motors because I’m still an os guy and not sure they are still around I know how to port and polish os motors and other little trade secrets but as far as what’s avalible no clue I am still on an rc budget so that’s another reason I didn’t rush the nitro thing thanks for the advice bro and I’m sure you’ll here more from me

is that header/manifold good for mid-range off road runs? i see most of my racing buddies uses the longer manifold like a U-shape...nice Video ! thanks
@AB-80X5 жыл бұрын
This engine is surprisingly carefree when it comes to headers and exhaust - use what fits your project the best physically. However, it really likes a lightweight flywheel for midrange punch. i use the lightweight low inertia REDS 32mm flywheel. Try the REDS Tetra clutch with XH retainer and 4 alu shoes, best upgrade to any offroad rc with this engine.

You should have used the same clutch springs on all 4 shoes. Now you will have 2 shoes engaging before the other 2. Don't see the point of that. Less grab and uneven wear.

I just installed a Rotostart on my LRP 32 X. Here's a fact from the real world. NO DIFFERENCE inperformence, NONE! Same lap times, same top speed and so on.
@Cardiakk4 жыл бұрын
That's a lie because from physics alone, there's more rotational mass on the crank from the pullstart assembly.
