Whenever I want to eat healthy with a lot of veggies that also tastes great, often I eat Asian food. It’s usually Indian, Korean, Japanese, Thai. The seasoning is delicious and I don’t feel like eating vegetables is a chore. I lost a lot of weight eating that way. Avoiding dairy is also good for you. My skin got much clearer cutting dairy out.

Michael Wang Humans don’t need dairy past infancy. Dairy from polluted factory farms also carry puss, antibiotics and other nasty stuff that humans don’t need. The milk that seems the best replacement for dairy milk from what I understand is soy milk. It also depends on what you’re looking for so check the nutrition labels. Calcium is found in a lot of fruits, nuts and vegetables so you shouldn’t be lacking calcium if you eat healthy. For your gut, foods with probiotics are kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles and other fermented foods.

Would have loved to see some numbers, calories. His diet seems to be way less than the infamous Micheal Phelps 12K daily diet, which I believe was not accurate, anyways. Based on what He showed, I would assume he does not even eat more than 4000 calories per day and considering his training sessions that is less than what I expected.

I’m sure he was referencing the granola and fruit that he puts in the yogurt when he was said “carbs.” I couldn’t agree more though. I laughed when he said eating carbs later in the day is a “good way to gain weight.” Also a banana to prevent cramping... really? He’d be better off having some peanut butter toast or anything high in sodium and drinking plenty of water if he’s worried about cramps. Then he says he needs carbs to fuel his AEROBIC workout lol. Buddy, aerobic training primarily utilizes fat for energy, not carbs (although if he’s near his aerobic threshold for >1hr then a small amount of carbs is necessary). It always baffles me how little some world class athletes know about nutrition.

The inaccuracy of many of these statements is really surprising given how generally healthy his diet is. An example within the first minute: aerobic exercise utilizes primarily fat for energy-not carbohydrates. Also the idea that bananas are high in potassium and “prevent cramping” is absurd. Firstly, they really don’t have that much potassium, and second. Muscle cramps are most often a result of dehydration or lack of sodium. Potassium plays a role, but you’re much better off focusing on getting salt before/during a workout than a f-ing banana.

@@DrunkenSailors1 Your body simply can't digest food that quick, fact. People don't even realise the two things that use up so much energy in their lives. Eating and sleeping. Why do you think you feel like a nap after eating? Because your body is using it so much energy to digest what you just ate. Same with sleeping, you wake up tired and foggy, because your body has been using up so much energy to regenerate cells etc...there are thousands of professional athletes who only eat once a day!!
