The take on Wemby couldn’t be more wrong in my opinion. Pop isn’t playing for right now he’s playing for 2 to 3 years from now. I believe Pop is letting Wemby get his reps up from outside the paint so that he’s easily more efficient doing so with years to come. The goal is to turn Wemby into a 7’4 KD and doing so he has to get shots up it’s that simple. If the Spurs were trying to win now then I could see them keeping him in the paint where his efficiency is guaranteed. You get what I’m saying? The Spurs are doing the right thing letting Wemby experiment with his play style all over the court rather than limiting him thus limiting his potential to be a basketball juggernaut. Edit: Swish if you see this I just wanna say I been watching your videos since 2017 keep it up my g great content overall and your consistency is damn near unmatched ✊🏾💯

I have a weird hot take: The Thunder’s biggest weakness is that they are not physically intimidating. I look at their whole roster and I don’t see any one guy who I would be scared of if I was their height. I don’t think any team in the league will be scared to just go in on them and use their physicality, because the Thunder just look like they aren’t suited to handle it.

I mean as a Dame fanboy I may be pretty biased but come on people acting like he is a completel bust, while Dame is currently pretty much better in any metric than Jrue (even though this is regarded as a weak season for him) besides the defense, and the biggest thing is, that the league is better now than it was last year with stars as Ant rising, and still the bucks have pretty much the same record they had last year up until this many games AND they are currently they are tied for the 3rd best record in the league. So this wouldn’t even be a bust if it stayed like that considering that Giannis now has a second option to close games in the playoffs, BUT they are still evolving. I swear if Dame gets used to Milwaukee it will be horrific. How could anyone possibly call this a bad trade??

Can we talk about Klay? I feel really bad for him. To go from one of the premier SGs in the league to now is just sad. And because of 2 injuries, not even a natural regression. And the dogpiling I've seen towards him is just absolutely ridiculous. As if this dude isn't a sure fire HoFer and 4 time champion. He doesn't have to prove anything else and the GS fans who are shitting on him are the "what have you done for me lately" types. Unreal. I even heard people calling him a career busrider which is absolutely the stupidest thing I've heard from NBA fans. How quickly we forget. Sad.

I think anyone who has seen basketball for the past 3 years knows the James Harden-Clippers experiment more than likely won't work out in the playoffs, it's just too much history of inconsistency on both ends to make me believe that this team can actually compete for the championship even if they make it back to the WCF. I know they're looking good right now, but something tells me that this good fortune will run out at the worst time. Even if James Harden resigns, it'll just be for the money since Kawhi and Paul George will be free agents at the start of the off-season.
@RADIOACTIVEYOUTH
@RADIOACTIVEYOUTH 7 ай бұрын
The clips don’t need harden to be a superstar in the playoffs. They just need him to set the table for Kawhi and let him cook. Him and Russ have allowed Kawhi and Pg to play off ball and take advantage of the mismatches while having enough energy on defense.

But also I'm not one to purely judge players on team results when context shows they don't deserve blame or vice versa. Honestly I'd have to see them win a series to even consider it a win of a trade instead of a lateral move.

Harden never had a caliber of Kawhi as a teammate though... I mean, a teammate that done it all and win it all... Yes, he had some great teammates in CP3, Russ in OKC and Houston, KD in OKC, and Embiid but neither of those players had won a title before except KD who had to leave OKC and go to GSW... So basically, what I am saying is that, all throughout James Harden playoff career, he never had a HoF caliber talent that knows how to win and putting up historical numbers on both ends in Kawhi come playoff time... The only way that stands with the Clippers winning is actually Kawhi's health because let's be real, without Kawhi, even if Harden, Russ, and PG13 are healthy, they won't get it done... They needed Kawhi's leadership as he had done it all in his career... He is a 2 time champion for a reason

People were really exposing themselves when they said that Dame is washed because he wasn’t playing like Portland Dame now that he’s in Milwaukee. The plan was never supposed to be Dame playing like he’s still in Portland, that insane production only happened cause he never had help. Dame won’t have to play like he’s Portland Dame now that’s he’s on the best team he’s ever been on to date, if he did then something went horribly wrong. The Giannis & Dame pairing is just a better version of what the Embiid & Harden pairing was supposed to be; have two players that fit great together and both are capable of carrying a team when everyone else is having a bad game.

For the Clippers I feel like we've been here so many times before. We get excited cause they're doing great then injury hits close to Playoffs. Hopefully this year changes

I may be a delusional fan but i think this year is different. Quietly there is alot of things riding on this year for them. Kawhis contract year, Harden and Westbrook has to prove themselves(as contenders), and Paul George has been blackballed for the league and has something to prove to. 3 of the 4 players are in desperate need of a ring to solidify their body of work. Having one or two of those players out is fine because 2 others can still ball. Their bench is also ballin Powell is consistent, Westbrook has his flare back, Thesis is pretty good, Bones Hyland was ballin prior to being benched for Harden. And to top it all off they move into their stadium this year, itll be nice to transition there after a good season. But your right injury does always bite this team, but this year feels a bit different. They are being slept on by the league in my eyes

@swishout I was confused at the 5:13 time mark when you said the Clippers "had the best point differential in their conference since their six game losing streak" and then the accompanying graphic showed the Thunder having a slightly better point differential in the western conference than the Clipper over that timespan. But then I thought it is me and am I reading the graphic wrong, hence the confusion.

Honestly, the Cavs situation seems to be more on injuries than it more being on Mitchell. I think they would be better than where they're at now. I can see where his advanced stats puts him in where he's at now however at the same time, he's playing without Garland or Mobley. Once they get back healed and healthy, the team will be winning more.

They play better with just garland though. And their coach has terrible lineups putting garland and Mitchell in at the same time.
