Remembered this story is set when this quote was relevant: "I Couldn't Imagine Being Too Poor for Servants, or Rich Enough for a Car" Agatha Christie, looking back on her early life, remarked that she: I couldn't imagine being too poor to afford servants, nor so rich as to be able to afford a car.

5:20 We had a cat here that had her kittens under the bathtub (big metal bathtub at that) and one of the kittens my father dragged out was ice cold. He was going to flush it when he decided to do just this and after about 2 minutes of him rubbing that kitten's body like this, it started breathing and meowing. So as stupid as this seems, it can work. I've seen it with my own eyes.

where my Rottweiler had her first litter puppies years age she changed positions and lay down on one of the puppies and squished it and Weirdly it's actually due to this film that puppy lived and grew into a strong happy dog, when I moved her the baby was barely breathing, I wrapped the baby in a towel and using my thumbs I rubbed its chest for I don't know maybe three hours or so until it could breath on it's own again. and all because I remembered the scene of the still born puppy from this movie. We kept him and called him Zuma he was an amazing dog I remember I had watched a Zombie movie and was pretending to be a Zombie shambling around and Zuma came running around a corner and I "Attacked" him, Play biting him around the neck, he actually played dead and attacked our other dog when she came around the corner, it was like he understood what I was doing. I love him and miss him dearly he passed away in 2017 at 7 years old, his mother passed three years ago at the rip old age of 13 years. As Bloodywoods song "Yaad" says "I see your Coming as a Gift, not your leaving as a curse, and even though it hurt, it makes me feel like I'm one with the Universe." Treasure your pets because even long after their gone their still with you.

3:00 iirc There's a little goof in this part of the movie that I hoped would've been addressed. Perdita fails to stop Roger and Anita's fall, but doesn't fall into the water herself. Moments later, she's seen WALKING OUT of the water, implying she actually did fall in! You don't hear an extra splash or anything between those two shots, so it's tough to argue that Perdita jumped in off screen.

I read the story someplace before I saw the movie---in a theater. Had to laugh when, just after they met in the park, "Pongo and Perdita went into the bushes and got married." Did I remember correctly that Roger's his song that made him rich, was the slanderous (libelous?) "Cruella DeVille?" I still think the original was much better than the live action remake. Stay safe, everyone.

I know whenever these 101 Dalmatian movies come out people run out to buy Dalmatians. Although I heard this breed of dog suffers from a number of medical problems like diminished sight and kidney ailments.
@veronikamajerova45643 жыл бұрын
True, but bigger problem is that dalmatians are pretty high-energy breed, which needs a lot of activity. More than some people can (or are willing) to give, which can than lead to destructive behavior. It´s this reason why so many of those dalmatians ended up in dog shelters. In short, if you want to buy a dog, for whatever reason, research the breed beforehand, so you can be sure you can meet its needs.
@arona66923 жыл бұрын
Every breeds have a number of medical problems. We humans made breeds by reproducing the same blood lines (aka consanguinity) for "sport" (hunting or fighting) or just for the fun of it. Golden Retrievers, Labradors and multiples other large breed dogs have heart conditions. Carlins and bulldogs have trouble breathing. German Sheperd suffers from degenerative spinal stenosis, hip dysplasia (wich hurt like hell and can drive them insane), neurological diseases... But hey they are pretty.
