Bro. This is one of the biggest guilty pleasure films of all time. I love Doom. But man.... My critic brain absolutely hates how entire premise is based around how Sarge (The Rock) royally gets his entire team killed. And yes I do mean the entire team. Because as soon as Goat died in the Sewers Sarge doesn't abort the mission and just regroup back at head quarters. Or just order his team to fall back and guard the Arc instead of getting Pinky a non soldier and a cripple to guard it. As much as Portman looked like a coward and a creep in this movie. He was right the whole time. They should have called in reinforcements the second goat died because they realistically don't know what they are dealing with.

So you know, when duke stopped shooting the imp with his rifle during the nano wall dog scene, his weapon jammed and thats why he switched to his pistol. A second weapon jam occurred in this movie during the fps scene with reaper vs an imp. He wasnt lining a shot, his weapon jammed so he tap, racked and fired after he was able to clear the jam. Simple things like this make this movie solid compared to today shooting movies where it looks like the guns have infinite ammo and never jam. The song is "In the Year 2525." It's literally the title. Not only will most of your audience not get that reference (considering how old that song is), it's not even an accurate one!
