Just brought a new puppy home 2 days ago. I have been applying some of the techniques to helping him get use to me and I was so amazed so far for 2 nites no accidents in the crate. Starving and thirsty and wanting to play when he wakes up. He is doing good I feel so far. I watch him close during the day and take him out especially after we have played hard and he has done his pooping outside yay! Thank you for your videos. I will continue what I’m learning lol.

I’ve been using the McCann method to train my puppy but I’m having a very scary issue with the house line. Sometimes I step on the line to keep my puppy from going somewhere and twice now he has then gone full speed the other direction causing his neck to get wrenched violently. It’s terrifying and it makes me scared to use the line.

We always love it when people prepare before their puppy comes home. You’ll be pretty busy when he arrives so now is the time to get ready!

Amazing video, I'm thinking on adopting a dog, not really sure if adult dogs are easier to train like puppies, but for sure this video is helpfull. Thank you so much ❤

This is perfect timing as my Schnauzer puppy comes home on Saturday! I'm excited but getting nervous. I got all the supplies on your list (that I didn't have leftover from my previous dog), and I'm watching all the puppy videos to try and be prepared 😬.

was not using a puppy pen explained? A lot of other channels suggest using it so just wondering what’s the advantage of not using one. Getting our first puppy tomorrow! Love the channel!

What are your thoughts on using those little fences that create a dog park inside the house instead of a crate for a new puppy?

She uses kibble. Not sure about the high-value treats. I would like to know too.

@ My pup doesn’t take his kibble as a treat. Even when he’s hungry, he just doesn’t care. 🤷♀️

How approximately much treats do you give for training in one day?

The recommendation i've heard (i believe it was in this video as well) is to use about half of the pup's usual meal as food for training. that way the dog knows that the food always comes from you and builds that connection early without giving them any extra calories.
